Running out the clock is a losing strategy. That is how they loss the House and Senate. Instead of dealing with the problem. They think people would forget.

I realize I'm an old fogey and a pauper relative to Trumpian senator grift intake but aren't his daughters 10 and 12 years old?

The older one is 7th grade, I suppose with school and virtually everything being cancelled for a weather disaster in Houston, the natural tween response is I want to go to Cancun with some friends.  Ofcourse the natural Dad response is 'let's go!'
 
If it was a governor that?s  a big deal...a local congressman.. maybe..but a senator... he really has no effect...he?s an legislator not an administrator... bad optics but little else...I would have run for the door too..Pay closer attention to the Governor to the north who actually killed people and lied about it, that really effects people!  Heading out to Florida tomorrow for a bit of r and r in an open state..see ya next week!!

Remember the rumor that insurance carriers might charge more if you previous got covid.
Due to the super high cost of the long term effect. I am so cheap, I will avoid covid.
