In some ways you are right but it is really the simplest economic equation of supply and demand. They aren’t making any more 1965 Broncos, but Musk is still pumping out Model Y’s🤷🏽‍♂️. As an investment, there is no comparison. My main worry is having a valuable car as a daily driver. Gotta use a club in my area🤦🏽‍♂️😂😂😂
Well, classic cars took off over the last 15-20 yrs. You could buy an old air cooled 911 in the 2000s for less than a third of their current prices.

I met Richard Rawlings at an SFO bar years ago - he was flying home from Concours D’Elegance at Pebble. Everyone kept coming up to him and buying him drinks. I had no idea who he was so asked and he told me his whole story, basically starting out flipping Ferraris . Cool dude , unpretensIous

Had several clients and friends up there this year. I’m certainly not in that class of buyer but my search for this truck is national. Like any investment, you have to be patient and buy it right. I’ll find it eventually.👍🏽😂😂🇺🇸

Well for some of us it was obvious…for others it is a rude awakening….🤦🏽‍♂️😂😂🦄🌈

Electric dream in tatters as EV-maker once bigger than Ford and GM shuts dealerships

For America's electric vehicle market, VinFast is the latest EV company to crack under the weight of once-lofty expectations.

The company's original US pitch imagined its dealership selling a full lineup of EVs, including a small pickup truck. Investors, believing EVs could rocket-fuel their earnings after Tesla's shocking success, flooded VinFast's stock with $65billion.

In 2023, that made the car company richer than America's legacy automakers, Ford and General Motors.

But VinFast didn't deliver its initial promise. American car buyers had only two options — the $40,000 VF 8 and the $63,000 three-row VF 9. That wasn't enough to inspire consumers.

$19,500,000,000.00 in losses with nothing to show for it. Man if you were dumb enough to buy one of these monstrosities you have a 6 figure brick but I bet you saved your side of the planet🤔😂😂😂😂👎🏽🦄🌈

Ford's electric hopes unravel as it pulls the plug on battery-powered F-150 after $19.5bn loss

The F-150 Lightning will stop rolling out of the automaker's Dearborn, Michigan, factory — marking a major retreat from Ford's most ambitious EV bet.

The decision comes as Ford disclosed a staggering $19.5billion loss in its consumer EV business, including $8.5billion tied to canceled future models and another $6billion from a scrapped deal with a battery supplier.

Ford to record $19.5 billion in special charges related to EV pullback

Didn't think VinFast would make it.

I mentioned EREVs before. Ford is pivoting towards more affordable EVs like a mid-size EV truck.

I'll get one of those.
So an onboard ICE engine to charge the EV engine?…do you not see the comedy in that?…How about cutting out the middle man and just use an efficient ICE engine to power your whole car?🤦🏽‍♂️😂😂😂😂. Ford is even looking at using a 2 stroke engine to do it😂😂😂. What an idiotic circle jerk😂😂😂👎🏽🦄🌈
