Had att fiber and it was very up and down.  Canceled directv and my 70 a month jumped to 110. Cox gave me 2 years for 65/mo plus free install so I switched.  You get to use your own router and no att junk to have to bypass.

Builders hurt resale value by allowing customers to cheap out and take the ugly options instead of giving them a better choice for modern design.  Houses like 13 Goldenrod - that's decent house with a good size but those cabinets and everything inside of it....that's a shame.

Just moved in at Baker Ranch Terraces and Toll installed a Genie 2028 garage opener.  It's clearly a cheap unit.  No LCD clock or motion light, looks ugly, and has awful range when opening from a homelink car. Has anybody replaced their openers? Thinking about getting a LiftMaster 8550w...

FWIW - SoCalWater told me they do the builder optional upgrade of the water softener system for Shea Homes.

Thanks for the tip.  I had Culligan come out to my house yesterday.  Guy was worse than a used car salesman.  He could not give me numbers until he finished his spiel.  At the end of it, he wanted me to buy the ugly ass system for $5k.  I had Kinetico scheduled to come out tomorrow morning but...

I'll try those eventually.  I love DIRECTV quality though and need Sunday Ticket.  Cloud DVR is still new and has a lot of bugs and limitations.  Plus live 4K NBA, NFL, and ESPN are around the corner.  Must have.

all moved in.  unpacking begins.  i had AT&T Fiber scheduled to come out yesterday and nobody showed up.  Can't beat the 1000/1000 for $70 a month.  I noticed Cox now has Gigablast in the area.  Wondering if they are going to force Cox on us.  Their 1000/1000 is $120/month. 

Our plan is Helena.  Final walk through today.  Should begin moving in today/tomorrow.

Apparently one of the summit model homes is already sold for 3.2m.  Buyer gets the house in a year but has it reserved and paid in cash.

Working on structure of the Helena.  Comes to 2780 square feet when you get rid of the California room for a full room instead.  Looks way better that way and you have room for a formal dining and massive counter.  We're getting rid of the 5th bedroom for the super loft.  Opens the upstairs up...

Just reserved a house at the Terraces.  Really liked the Helena model.  Got it in Spanish Colonial on a 4k sqft lot.
