Trump is losing support everywhere. Deutschebank dumped him a couple days ago, and he owes them $300+ million.

Today NYC cancelled all his contracts.

The entire business community and military leadership have given him harsh rebukes. More Republicans in the House and Senate have pledged to support impeachment. All his comms are down after being banned from social media platforms.

And people are waking up and getting angrier by the day. Like I said, this does not deserve any shred of nuance. It was a bloody failed insurrection that was well planned and seditious.

Maybe that was the plan all along. When he was the boss, GOP members and businesses did not want to stand up to him and run the risk of his vicious vengeance. Now that he is going to be just another citizen, with a lot of people despising him, it is fashionable to gather up the courage and cut-off ties with him.

And their fears were not wrong. See what kind of language he used in the speech on the day of the riots.
 
Interesting to see how Mc Connell yesterday was welcoming impeachment to rid the R's of their Trump problem.

Here's what will happen.

If he runs in 2024, he'll get nowhere. That said, Trump will get rehabilitated over time - just as Richard Nixon did. For someone who ran an illegal war (Cambodia), had an enemies list,  money laundering, influence peddling, etc, etc, etc, leading up to his resignation -

One source told Fox News that McConnell has not made up his mind about what to do about impeachment, and does not see this as a partisan exercise like the previous impeachment effort against Trump.

Another source told Fox News that McConnell told associates that impeachment will help rid the Republican Party of Trump and his movement.

The New York Times first reported that McConnell was pleased that House Democrats introduced an article of impeachment against Trump.

A source close to McConnell told Fox News that "nobody is pleased by anything."

Meanwhile, other sources told Fox News that there is "no love lost there." ;D ;D ;D

A Tuesday night report from Axios cited a top Republican close to McConnell saying, 'The Senate institutional loyalists are fomenting a counterrevolution' to Trump.

a New York Times report that McConnell told associates he believes Trump 'committed impeachable offenses' and he’s 'pleased' by the move to impeach him.   

His current view follows reports that McConnell never wants to speak to Trump again

A source told CNN McConnell 'hates' Trump and is 'furious' with him after the Capitol riots.

Leaking info to the press has been practiced for decades. Not saying it is right or wrong but that's just how it works.

The political people can get messages out and it gives them plausible deniability cover.
