What do you all think of Ja Jiaozi? I liked it the two or three times I went when I lived near the marketplace.

I'm also looking forward to DTF at the Spectrum!
Plum braised pork belly is decent at Jiaozi, but thought the dumplings there were average overall. Interior of restaurant is nice and modern, but I probably won’t come back again due to food poisoning-like symptoms the first time I tried to dine-in (yet this didn’t happen the few times I ordered delivery on UberEats).

Can’t wait for Din Tai Fung at Spectrum, will save the drive to Anaheim and South Coast. Happens to be near the 24 I workout at. I used to go to the location at Torrance Del Amo Mall when I lived in Redondo Beach. Din Tai Fung actually has a decent Old Fashioned on their cocktail menu.

Bye bye…🤦🏽‍♂️😡

Howard’s Appliances closes all stores in Southern California

Howard’s Appliances has abruptly closed all of its Southern California stores, with reportedly little warning to employees

The home appliance chain had at least eight locations that were operating before shuttering on Dec. 6, including La Habra, Tustin, Covina, Westminster, Long Beach, Laguna Hills and Alhambra.

Supermex salsa is one of my favorite salsas out there. Was introduced to it about 25 years ago and it still tastes the same.

@morekaos - since you are in LB is the one on 2nd street still there. Used to eat there a lot back in th day

Thank God…yes! They have a separate annex nest to the sit down to deal with all the to go and Uber eats orders…there are a few other locations in the LBC. Love their wet Carntas Burrito to this day.🤤👍🏽

It's weird how non-chain Italian and Mexican spots can't last in Irvine.

Let's see how Pasta Viva goes (reminds me of the old Pasta Bravo... we went but it was too crowded... too much sosh exposure).
