I actually really like the UTC location in San Diego versus South Coast.South Coast Plaza DTF has been somewhat disappointing imo, I went to two locations in Seattle and they had much better food and services.

Plum braised pork belly is decent at Jiaozi, but thought the dumplings there were average overall. Interior of restaurant is nice and modern, but I probably won’t come back again due to food poisoning-like symptoms the first time I tried to dine-in (yet this didn’t happen the few times I ordered delivery on UberEats). What do you all think of Ja Jiaozi? I liked it the two or three times I went when I lived near the marketplace.
I'm also looking forward to DTF at the Spectrum!
Thank God…yes! They have a separate annex nest to the sit down to deal with all the to go and Uber eats orders…there are a few other locations in the LBC. Love their wet Carntas Burrito to this day.Supermex salsa is one of my favorite salsas out there. Was introduced to it about 25 years ago and it still tastes the same.
@morekaos - since you are in LB is the one on 2nd street still there. Used to eat there a lot back in th day
My favorite is the shredded beef wet burrito. Their nachos with shredded beef and with extra red sauce is my other favoriteThank God…yes! there are a few other locations in the LBC. Love their wet Carntas Burrito to this day.![]()
That’s a real loss for that area. The first SuperMex I ate at was Long Beach too. Visiting some CSULB friends. I thought the super chip was interesting.
