Just did a curbside pickup from REI. Very smooth process: You get an email notification when your item is ready for pickup. Click on email link when parked in designated curbside parking lot in front of store. Use drop down menu for your car description.  Within 5 min employee with face covering came out. Kept my windows up and showed them my ID against the glass. Popped open trunk and all done.

Had a similar experience at Container Store this weekend.  Loved it and hope services like these are here to stay post COVID.  Would have been a total gamechanger for me when my kids were younger.  Could have zipped around town picking up various things without having to do carseat/stroller/ergo.

They most likely will. Just like many places are going cashless... the new hautness is contactless. :)
 
Went to Mitsuwa Japanese market in Costa Mesa.  Was surprised that quite a few shelves were still empty.  Either stocks are not being delivered from Japan yet, or stocks are low in Japan.
