Anyone has info on the 1915 bond and when it expires for the different communities?
Depends on your community.

There is info on some of the 'hoods on the early posts of this thread or you can call for that info. You can get the phone number from the tax bill or from your sales office if it's a new build.

Wow, I would love to see that Mello bond drop off, but I will just bet IUSD finds a way to extend it. (If they deem they need money for maintenance I think they can extend it).

I think that one drops off in the next few years.

i looked at my new tax bill, the normal tax went up 0.45%, which was expected since that is what was on the notice. one MR bond went up 2.45%, the other went up 2.0%.  that is some BS. not sure why they dont refinance the bonds.

My basic levy went up slightly due to the increased assessed value.

But some A4 Irvine Ranch Water District bond was split into two amounts which totaled less than last year so my overall property tax is lower than last year.

Mello doesn't go up for us.

So I checked my sisters prop taxes and one went down $300 (Foothill Ranch must have refinanced their mello bond) and the other one (also had a bond refinanced but it didn't amount to much savings since the bond was $600 or so) but her basic levy went up big time (had their assessed value lowered with the fall in real estate values) for a total increase of over 14%.

Hi PS9.  How do you read that chart?

Finally got my property tax bill.. one supplement which was very small.. then a regular one.  I didn't see the MRs on here though.. will they be sending me another one for that?  So three bills total?

The MR should be on the official property tax bill under Irvine CFD or something like that.  The supplemental is just the base rate times the difference between your closing price and the old base value.  I got 3 bills total.  One prop tax (with the MR) plus two supplemental bills.  One of the supp bills was just a few hundred bucks.

Got my supplementals today as well.  Merry Christmas indeed.

Did you get three of them?

does it matter how many bills?  You should know what your total tax is for the year.  It's just Base + MR based on sf of home. There won't be any surprises.  Supps are due feb and June.
