Masks?

No. You lack a basic understanding of viral load reduction and transmission.

If masks were really ineffective... health professionals would not use them.

Studies like these tend to reach with causation and correlation... there are many more that prove otherwise which you always ignore.

But that's okay... that's what humans do... brush away what they do not want to understand.

See... and that's why your posts have little value some times (not all the time).

You say something, and then when caught fact checking or just flat out being wrong... your retort is "I was joking", "I'm kidding", "I'm being sarcastic", "Can't prove a negative".

Own up to your lack of research/understanding:

You go IHO.  We all need to do what we think is right.  As I have said...you wanna mask up...go right ahead...sew it to your face for all I care...that's your right...  Me,  I'll do what I think is right...Merica!!!

Sure... but by trying to post these things as facts, you are spreading disinformation and misleading people.

Instead... it would be preferable if you posted these as "This is what I found... discuss?"

But then when discussed, you go back to... "not in my world".

So.. why even post these at all?

Again... if it has no value... you are just spamming.

For you any information that you don't like is "disinformation"...I post "information"...the readers can decide what they want to believe.

This is why I always look at covid mask guidance "information" with a sideways eye...

CDC and FDA 'altered' Covid guidance and even 'suppressed' findings while under political pressure, bombshell report suggests - with employees left fearing 'retaliation' if they spoke up
Federal investigators interviewed top-level directors and managers at agencies
They also opened a hotline for employees to report 'political interference'
Government Accountability Office uncovered widespread allegations of this
They raised fears that Covid guidance may have been 'altered or suppressed'
GAO warned none of the agencies had systems in place for reporting allegations
Said they had failed to train staff in how to report and spot political interference
Follows allegations White House waged a war on science early in the pandemic

With fools like this towing the line....unmasked as frauds...who can anyone believe?...

NYC medic who became star tweeting about working on COVID frontline treating kids in hospital is actually a SCHOOL pediatrician with cushy 9-5 job
Dr. Risa Hoshino has been accused of lying about working on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic
The social media physician, who claimed to be working inside a hospital treating children COVID-19 cases, was found out to be a school pediatrician
The city-employed pediatrician reportedly worked a cushy $170,000 Monday-Friday job, which she mostly worked remotely
She would often tweet about wearing an N95 mask for 12-hours and share heartbreaking stories of sick children on Twitter
Meanwhile, her Instagram would show her having dinner with friends and bikini shots on the beach
The doctor also claimed to work for Mount Sinai, despite not having any affiliation with the hospital since completing her residency in 2017

Science. Preprint with the Lancelot shows wearing masks at school has made no difference in terms of case count.

Science. CDC now recommends wearing masks for Monkeypox, like it is transmitted airborne like a respiratory virus....
https://www.cdc.gov/poxvirus/monkeypox/clinicians/infection-control-home.html

...and then they 180...this helps their credibility deficit....

CDC backtracks! Agency DROPS advice for travelers to wear face masks to protect themselves against monkeypox after less than 24 hours as it confirms 31 cases in US including seven in New York and six in California
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has removed advice to wear masks for travelers that it issued in an alert last week
Edit was made less than 13 hours after the media began to report the advice
CDC is yet to explain why it decided to make the edit to its travel alert
Monkeypox is typically transmitted through physical contact with skin lesions
But in some cases it could also be spread by breathing in infected droplets

Well?.follow the science?duh?

The astonishing data that may prove masks DON'T work as Covid cases in Singapore and New Zealand OVERTAKE Australia despite SUPER strict mandates: 'They don't matter'
?        Covid cases in Singapore and New Zealand have overtaken Australia per capita
?        Both still have very strict mandates in place unlike Australia where rules eased
?        Death rates in New Zealand are also higher than in Australia despite masks
?        Data shared by infectious diseases professor in post saying masks 'don't matter'
?        It's the latest damning data to counter calls for a Covid clampdown in Australia

Was at Saddleback Memorial the other day, masks are REQUIRED (as is proof of vax or negative PCR test).

So the medical profession must know something.

So has morekaos gone to a hospital recently without a mask? Maybe Long Beach Memorial isn't as strict?

Los Angeles County confirms only 3 COVID hospitalizations at LAC+USC Medical Center as city reinstates masks

Los Angeles County encouraged its residents to comply with health safety measures regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in a statement released on Monday, despite confirming only three hospitalizations for COVID at the LAC and University of Southern California Medical Center. "At the current time, approximately 10 percent of patients admitted to LAC+USC Medical Center with a positive COVID test are admitted due to illness caused by COVID," the county said. "In contrast to our peak during the winter of 2020, when we had 285 COVID+ patients in the hospital, 120 of whom were in the ICU, we currently have approximately 30 COVID+ patients in the hospital, of whom 3 were admitted for COVID, none of whom are in the ICU."

Disinformation at its finest.

It's about preventing the system from being overwhelmed.

As you can see by this data link, hospitalizations in LA County are rising:

The article you quoted is only one hospital and of course is a Fox article disguised in an MSN link.

Yes, hospitalizations of people with covid, not necessarily hospitalizations due to covid.  These county dashboards haven't kept up with changing conditions.

That's why the low IQ iho is so easily influenced and tricked. Number of people with Covid is rising but number of people due to Covid remains low.
