Funny... I thought all the buildable land in Irvine was what keeps prices elevated because you can always buy new housing here.

Panda just uses Talk Irvine to try to get some new buyers for Johns Creek.
Never heard of Johns Creek before prior to seeing this thread on "Talk Irvine"!
In other words this whole thread is spam, can a mod please delete it.
The answer to that is NO because Irvine is land locked that is mostly built out and unlike anyone other city in the US it has the backing of The Irvine Company which owns a ton of apartments, retail, office, and industrial space so they are incentivized to keep the Irvine perception of Irvine high (not to mention the great weather and close vicinity to Asian).

It's good to get perspective from outside the Irvine bubble. He also brings up a good question: Can other areas replicate the Irvine miracle?

I don't think any other area can replicate the "Irvine Miracle" especially not without all the FCB's that Irvine has "name recognition" with and depends on and definitely don't think that someplace in Georgia can replicate Irvine or is even a good head to head comparison with Irvine! LOL

Coincidentally, everyone that bought in Irvine at the peak are also having buyer's remorse. Sad really.Also Panda was going to live in Irvine... so he's having buyer's remorse.
