AI does not completely agree:

* Russia/Ukraine: roughly 0.6–0.8 million barrels/day of Russian diesel supply has been disrupted.
* Iran/Middle East: the disruption to regional refined-product exports is several million barrels/day, making it the larger physical supply shock.
* So I wouldn’t call Russian supply “the key element”. It’s a major contributor, but the evidence points to the Iran/Hormuz/Middle East disruption as the larger driver of the current refined-product inflation.
* Massachusetts doesn’t currently get its heating oil directly from Russia; Russian disruption affects it indirectly through the global market.

…and no Chinese EV dump anytime soon..😂😂😂👍🏽🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

U.S. auto market predictions for 2030: More hybrids, no Chinese entrants

Despite growing speculation that it won’t be long until Chinese autos are sold in the U.S., Murphy said he believes there is little appetite among U.S. lawmakers to allow that to happen

After dropping CarPlay and Android Auto support in 2023, looks like GM is bringing it back starting with the Silverado and Sierra truck lines.

This should mean they are going to do it for others... CarPlay (and AA) are awesome as it personalizes and unifies an experience no matter what vehicle you drive.

Agree! We don't need Chinese "glorified golf carts" here! Vinfast from Vietnam pretty much has failed already with the US market!

even BYD knows that the market has changed and is trying to diversify its way out…🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️😂😂😂🦄🌈

China’s EV makers shift gears to focus on humanoids as car market slows

The business diversification comes as slowing growth and weakening profitability put pressure on China’s EV makers

BYD can also deploy robots in its factories, Counterpoint’s Li pointed out. But he said over the medium-to-long term, Geely and Xpeng could better capture the benefits of diversifying beyond cars, pointing to Xpeng’s greater emphasis on its physical AI strategy.

Is morekaos going to boycott Toyota?

Toyota is selling more EVs despite the $7,500 federal tax credit expiring at the end of September last year, which pulled forward demand.

Meanwhile, Toyota said its electrified vehicles, including EVs, plug-in hybrids, and hybrids, accounted for 57.4% of total sales volume in the third quarter.

Separately, Toyota opened its new Battery Center of North America in Saline, Michigan on Thursday. The 30,000-square-foot facility will develop, test, and improve the batteries for Toyota’s next generation of vehicles.

Resistance is futile.

Of course not…if you read anything I have told you…its that Toyota has handled EV’s the right way…but not for the reaons you think…I have been very vocal and consistent with that point of view.😂😂😂

Toyota is the highest margin automaker and they knew going all in on EVs was unprofitable given Tesla’s massive head start in software and batteries. Their hybrid system is by far the most reliable and now they can match EV production to demand - profitably.

Nah. You implied they would not go to EVs anytime soon. But they have 3 (more actually if you count the Lexus and Subaru flavors) and they are selling well.

Your position is EVs will die... that's not the case.

Toyota is and will continue to be the dominant ICE producer. They avoided the fools rush in, total EV commitments that blew massive holes in other car companies balance sheets. They are leaning into their PHEV market advantage while dipping into the EV market slowly, understanding the slow uptake in that market. They are playing it perfectly. As I have always said. If the EV market uptake ever takes hold they are best positioned to pivot while avoiding all the costly mistakes (to us and shareholders) the other manufacturers made. 😂😂😂👍🏽
You are wrong again🤷🏽😂😂😂👍🏽🇺🇸

Nice dancing. Read your other posts where you say EVs will not succeed and how you say you are not anti-EV but have never once recognized EV tech is better than ICE.

Some speculate that the next gen Toyota 1.5L hybrid engine could deliver up to 70 mpg.

In my 2026 RAV4 with 2.5L 5th gen hybrid engine, I could hit >60 mpg (trip average) on I-5 in heavy traffic with 87 octane gas from Cerritos to Irvine and back.

My best trip average was 69 mpg from Cerritos to Irvine office on a raining day when everyone was driving slow in heavy traffic. If there were light traffic the mpg will be in the 50’s on freeway.

We have been discussing a specific company, Toyota, that i have been 100% correct about. You were calling Todoya a dinosaur with no vision…I knew he was right.

They say their vote is a way of protesting against Toyoda’s policy of not setting a date to go all-electric like most automakers have.

EV gonna EV!
