AI does not completely agree:

* Russia/Ukraine: roughly 0.6–0.8 million barrels/day of Russian diesel supply has been disrupted.
* Iran/Middle East: the disruption to regional refined-product exports is several million barrels/day, making it the larger physical supply shock.
* So I wouldn’t call Russian supply “the key element”. It’s a major contributor, but the evidence points to the Iran/Hormuz/Middle East disruption as the larger driver of the current refined-product inflation.
* Massachusetts doesn’t currently get its heating oil directly from Russia; Russian disruption affects it indirectly through the global market.

Agree! We don't need Chinese "glorified golf carts" here! Vinfast from Vietnam pretty much has failed already with the US market!

even BYD knows that the market has changed and is trying to diversify its way out…🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️😂😂😂🦄🌈

China’s EV makers shift gears to focus on humanoids as car market slows

The business diversification comes as slowing growth and weakening profitability put pressure on China’s EV makers

BYD can also deploy robots in its factories, Counterpoint’s Li pointed out. But he said over the medium-to-long term, Geely and Xpeng could better capture the benefits of diversifying beyond cars, pointing to Xpeng’s greater emphasis on its physical AI strategy.
