I may head to Vegas in my not-$100k EV... two 30-min stops for charging should do it.
It would be a smart move to acquire a used Tesla now - the pain from the coming CA refined petroleum molecule famine hasn’t even manifested yet - without a doubt CA will see $10/gal minimum for a decade. Too big a tanker to turn around even if we get a GOP supermajority (which will never happen). Middle class is f*cked as are the legacy OEMs who will still be burning off their balance sheet detritus from their sad and misguided efforts to compete against Elon for the best software and materials science talent.

For sure - it’s the middle class wage earner living in Southgate driving to their baggage job at LAXit’s not me that’s going to have a problem. I have a Suburban. I’m gonna be driving to the Grand Canyon this week and will fill it up as soon as I cross the state line. It’s everybody driving a diesel truck in California and all the poor Who’s gonna be screwed?
