You have to stop for at least half an hour for stretch/restroom/food breaks anyways.

When we rented an ICE minivan for our last road trip, we stopped at least 3 times each way and only 1 was for gas.

Please read… not 1 hour… fast charging is 20-30min. And it will be because we want to. Not healthy to hold your pee pee or sit for a long period of time.

It’s 20-30min stops and you already said you take at least that much time because you want to, so no difference. Stop reaching, EV charging is not the boogie man you wish it was.

And my trip will cost less in “fuel” than yours. That you can’t argue against.

You know what you were trying to imply and got caught because you didn’t realize fast charging can be done in as little as 20 minutes. And that number is going down to 5 minutes with new battery/charge tech.

All the hurdles you keep putting up are falling while gas prices keep rising.

Made it to Havasu straight in 5 hours…no stops. Filled up for $4.19/gallon. Spent a wonderful night on the river with friends and will head to the railhead at Williams to catch the train to the Canyon this morning…no stops. Easy, efficient and no unnecessary stops to wait (probably hours) to charge…ICE rules!!

Beautiful drive, did it all myself and never took a break. Listened to great music, had wonderful conversation and took in breathtaking sights…went directly to Foxes on the river and had lunch and beers. Burb was more than comfortable….you are too soft. I used to drive 8 hours to our place in Tahoe and get out and ski….
