Economy and Climate Change

Wrong…like tornados, rare but not unprecedented…1939…where was global warming then?...

1997 Hurricane Nora

On Sept. 24, 1997, Hurricane Nora impacted California and Arizona as a tropical storm, causing heavy rainfall and hundreds of millions of dollars in damage to agriculture.

The hurricane reached Category 4 strength off Mexico's west coast, with winds up to 130 mph. It made landfall three times in Baja California, twice as a hurricane and once as a tropical storm. It maintained tropical-storm strength as it crossed into the U.S. near the California-Arizona border.
Nora was the last tropical storm to enter California or Arizona. Past storms include the 1939 Long Beach Tropical Storm and Tropical Storm Katrina in Arizona in 1967.

The FOX Forecast Center noted that while Nora maintained tropical-storm strength as it moved from Mexico's Baja California into the U.S., this was not considered a landfall.

Nora's peak wind gust of 54 mph was clocked in Yuma, Arizona. The highest rain total of 11.97 inches was recorded in the Harquahala Mountains of Arizona.

There was also a hurricane that made landfall in 1858, but no storm watch for that one either.

We can't say these storms are getting more frequent. It actually runs counter to the climate crisis narrative just how infrequently these storms are occurring.

…. but they’ll try just like they’re trying to connect the Hawaiian fires or the Canadian fires or any day over 90° it’s desperate…. and no one believes it anymore. You can only Crywolf so many times.🤷🏽‍♂️😂😂😂

The real reason there is “unprecedented” warming and heat waves this year (and we had nothing to do with it nor can we do anything about it)…Earth gonna earth…🤷🏽‍♂️😂😂😂

Tonga Eruption Blasted Unprecedented Amount of Water Into Stratosphere

The huge amount of water vapor hurled into the atmosphere, as detected by NASA’s Microwave Limb Sounder, could end up temporarily warming Earth’s surface.

When the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai volcano erupted on Jan. 15, it sent a tsunami racing around the world and set off a sonic boom that circled the globe twice. The underwater eruption in the South Pacific Ocean also blasted an enormous plume of water vapor into Earth’s stratosphere – enough to fill more than 58,000 Olympic-size swimming pools. The sheer amount of water vapor could be enough to temporarily affect Earth’s global average temperature.

“We’ve never seen anything like it,” said Luis Millán, an atmospheric scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California. He led a new study examining the amount of water vapor that the Tonga volcano injected into the stratosphere, the layer of the atmosphere between about 8 and 33 miles (12 and 53 kilometers) above Earth’s surface.

In the study, published in Geophysical Research Letters, Millán and his colleagues estimate that the Tonga eruption sent around 146 teragrams (1 teragram equals a trillion grams) of water vapor into Earth’s stratosphere – equal to 10% of the water already present in that atmospheric layer. That’s nearly four times the amount of water vapor that scientists estimate the 1991 Mount Pinatubo eruption in the Philippines lofted into the stratosphere

I am going to have front row seats to this thing, way closer than any of you guys. I’m going to cover my boat, take down some umbrellas, and stow the outside TVs. Like all media panic porn, this will end up another nothingburger…yum, yum😂😂😂😂🤪

I hope so for you.

Kind of weird.... was at the Ralph's near Tustin Marketplace and people were "prepping".

Because the fear porn media has them all riled up and wide eyed! When it turns out to be just some rain it will just bust down their already ruined credibility another notch…like masks, more fear porn than practicality 🤷🏽‍♂️
