Good. Then my work here is done. Tell your friends at Irvine Company I will be fine with a copy of an Ivywood Plan 2 in Orchard Hills for about $650k. Two car garage is no problem. I'll buy one, and I'll tell every single person I know in SGV to buy one too. First phase will be sold out in 1 hour. You can then price phase two at $700k and so on.

geez bk's posts makes me think he knows more about me than i do.

Heres a good shot of what Bk is talking about:

Now if someone could do a map of Dland map overlayed a Woodbury map that would be awesome. While I don't doubt Bk, its just hard to imagine 9 Disneylands fitting in Woodbury. But it may just all because of the parking and walking you do going in or out. Although after looking at this pic and seeing how small things really are since they go underground and all. It does seem possible.

Haunted Mansion is my favorite too. Next you'll tell me there is no Santa Claus. :)</blockquote>

My description of Disneyland is positive. How did I cheapen it?</blockquote>

Once a magician explains the trick I enjoy it less. Now while watching the dancing ghosts I'll be convinced I can hear the traffic on Katella. Also I like to think of Woodbury as cozy... now its 9 times bigger than Disneyland.</blockquote>

Well my mistake the street I meant was West Street off Katella Ave. It is quieter street and does that add some tranquility to your haunted house ride?

Harbor to Euclid is one mile.

Euclid to Brookhurst is one mile.

Brookhurst to Magnolia is one mile.

Magnolia to Beach is one mile.

All were farming parcels a mile apart. This is why there is a Mile Square Park in FV betweem Euclid and Brookhurst.

Disneyland is between West and Harbor (1/2 mile) It is setback 1/12 mile from Harbor and West St. slightly.

A perfect 1/2 mile square circumscribed the circular Disneyland boundary but we have to subtract the 4 corners and setbacks along all 4 edges.

Woodbury is also on a mile square farm land. Jamboree to Culver, Culver to Jeffrey, Jeffrey to Sand Canyon were mapped based on farm grid. Irvine Blvd to Trabuco is also a mile.

Yes, thank you - that helps. Please warn me if you do an Orlando thread... I'd like to keep Disneyworld sacred at least.

Diamond parcel is Woodbury during mass grading. Right corner is Irvine Blvd/Sand Canyon. One mile square.

<img src="http://terraserver-usa.com/tile.ashx?t=4&s=14&x=129&y=1169&z=11" alt="" />

9 Disneylands could fit into the diamond above. The grey street with a fork bend to the left of Disneyland is Euclid. The distance between Euclid and Harbor; Katella and Ball Rd are exactly a mile and that is exactly the same length between Sand Canyon and Jeffrey between the 2 photos to verify that they are indeed the same scale.

North is up for both photos. Fwy 5 are both at a diagonal in both photos to validate their true compass direction.

I know it is hard to believe. Do you know there are a mile of lung pack into a stomach and miles of blood veins to span the distance between CA and NY.

To seal the deal. I will recommend TIC to load up the shelves inside the Master closet with all LV bags. I am sorry I do not have leverage to steer the TicTanic from crashing into the koolaid Iceberg.

I thought I knew everything about Disneyland. The entire Jungle Cruise adventure land is all behind the souvenir stores along Main Street and backs up to the entry plaza next to the tunnel entrance. I have always imagined it being closer to the castle.

Now my Jungle Cruise experience is no longer tranquil knowing that just to the other side of the forest is the entrance plaza full of tourists carrying cameras and LV bags.

What is really amazing that this 1/9 sq.mi. has made such an impact to the entire world. 1/10 of the the world's population walked through those 2 tunnels.

Just proves that Walt Disney is a better spin doctor than Donny Boy.

Sorry to interrupt your disection of Disneyland, but back to Foothills Ranch. I have two kids in junior high, so a 6.5 mi trek does not sound appealing to me at all. Along with all the other negatives, I am convinced I should not waste time on FR.

There are very few places in Disneyland that the guests can see see anything outside of Disneyland.

One summer I worked at Disneyland as a Matterhorn climber. Tres fun.

Me too! I think BK should have his own thread where he profiles member then you tell him how close he is.

Donny actually did numerous projects like Northpark with the concept borrowing the idea of a long "Main Street" such as the monumental palm tree entrances and many destination neighborhood enclaves through numerous twists and turns are actually located just to the other side of the wall off the entry plaza just like Disney's Jungle Cruise next to the Plaza.

Sorry Awgee. You do not qualify for profiling. You are not an Irvine Demographic buyer. Irvine can't deliver the authentic Santa barbara details that you like and never the kind of lot size you needed for privacy. You found other avenues to sending your kid to good schools outside of Irvine. You know your math well and do not fall into the financial prey of the Irvine developers.

You only pitfall is all your senses would be immediately blinded when you see a pot of gold.
