No, I don't want them treated like dogs.  I'm just making a point that there are way better locations than GP for a homeless shelter.  Unless you have a car, that piece of land is useless, unless you enjoy seeing senior citizens take walks and kids play soccer/tennis.

Not to sound mean, even though I'm sure it will, but the homeless would find the Bee Canyon landfill much more fruitful than an empty piece of land next to a big orange balloon.  A landfill would be a treasure trove for those people...food, discarded valuables, and decor that matches the tent...

You know what's the least expensive way for OCTA to transport people?  Using existing bus lines and existing bus stops, not extending bus lines so that bus drivers (at the end of a long shift) are transporting a bus filled with tired homeless people back to a shelter in the dark. 

The effort should primarily fall on those that don't speak the language of this country.  Learn the language.  Foreigners CHOSE to live in the US...then learn how to speak English.  Why are DMV written tests also administered in Korean, Chinese and Spanish?  If you can't read the road signs...
