The net catches many fish....

Obama conference call leaked to Burisma: Biden emails

The Obama administration let a Democratic p.r. company that worked for Ukrainian energy firm Burisma take part in a conference call about an upcoming visit to Ukraine by then-Vice President Joe Biden, emails obtained by The Post show.

An associate at Blue Star Strategies then emailed a memo with minutes of the conference call hosted by the White House to a top Burisma executive, Vadym Pozharskyi, as well as to Joe Biden’s son Hunter and Hunter’s business partner, Devon Archer, both of whom sat on Burisma’s board.

The trip, in December 2015, turned out to be the one during which Biden later bragged about forcing Ukrainian officials to fire a state prosecutor who was investigating Burisma by threatening to withhold a $1 billion US loan guarantee.

I get it. It is illegal for people to make money. Lol

Sorry to burst your bubble. But consultants and board members make money.

Do you think board members on publicly traded or privately held companies break a sweat? Maybe they break a sweat from walking from their car to the building. Lol
I mean come on some of the board members are ceo of other big or small companies. Also, to be a board member you do not have to be a ceo a company. I guess technically you can get anybody to be on the board. Mety or I can be on the board. =)
Do you expect board members to work and make xerox copies and get on the phone to drive sales? (Occasionally there are board members that are hands on)

Why do the news networks do not understand and explain this? Maybe because they have no clue.

Shaq is joining Papa John's board of directors

O'Neal, the NBA Hall-of-Famer, will join Papa John's board of directors. O'Neal will also invest in nine Papa John's stores in Atlanta and become an ambassador for the brand in advertisements. The company will pay O'Neal $8.25 million over three years for the endorsement deal, it said in a regulatory filing.

Not illegal to be on the board of directors.

Being on a board is not illegal...using your dads political connections and pressure to influence an investigation of the very company whose board you sit on and who pays you IS.  Quid pro quo and the connection here is blatant and clear.  If this was a Trump kid they would already be in jail...Biden gets a pass...till now.

Maybe Morekas wants to investigate Shaq? Who knows? Hahaa
Do you expect him to get on the phone and drive sales? Quick tip that is management’s job and responsibility to do all the work. The board just oversees.

Shaq is being paid to endorse and promote a companies legal business not peddle influence for a company being investigated for corruption....you do see the difference, right?

It raises questions about why Hunter, with zero experience in energy policy or Ukrainian affairs, but with a history of serious and chronic drug abuse, would have been paid so handsomely by an energy firm for the five years he served on its board.

The obvious implication is that Hunter was paid to buy influence with his father.

And, in fact, another email obtained by The Post reinforces that suspicion.
On May 12, 2014, just a few weeks after Hunter joined Burisma’s board, Pozharskyi wrote to him, “We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message/signal, etc. to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions” against Burisma.

Three months after Joe Biden’s 2015 visit to Kiev, Shokin was forced out of office, and nine months later, all legal proceedings against Burisma were dropped.

The circumstantial evidence that Burisma paid Hunter to influence his father, and, further, that the investment paid off for Burisma, demands answers.

It is up to Joe Biden to demonstrate that there was no conflict of interest in his son’s business dealings.

It is a joke for Biden to dismiss reasonable concerns about the perception of a conflict of interest. It damages America’s international reputation and calls into question his own judgment.

The NY Post's Hunter Biden Laptop Story Is a Right-to-Repair Nightmare

A water-damaged MacBook Pro and a copied hard drive are at the core of a bizarre story.

According to a story in the New York Post, a repair store in Delaware snooped through the contents of an abandoned MacBook Pro and allegedly unearthed video, photos, and emails belonging to Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden. The New York Post pitches it as a "smoking gun" for a narrative promoted by Donald Trump about Hunter Biden's dealings with a Ukrainian energy company, but a closer look at the story, and at the etiquette of the vast majority of repair stores, reveals a lot of red flags.

The next debate is out (the moderator was a Biden hack)  However, the third will happen as planned.

Steve Scully, who serves as a host for C-SPAN's "Washington Journal," interned for Biden after coming to Washington, D.C. as a student, according to Marie Claire. He later worked as a staff assistant for the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., a Democratic icon who was honored at the party's 2012 convention.

On Thursday, one of his tweets resurfaced containing a photo of him with Biden. "Gotta love the @VP at the Biden Beach Bash '16," it read.

Well what do you know...he really is a Democrat hack...Surprise (not really)

C-SPAN suspends Steve Scully indefinitely after he admitted to lying about Twitter hack

NEW YORK (AP) — C-SPAN suspended its political editor Steve Scully indefinitely Thursday after he admitted to lying about his Twitter feed being hacked when he was confronted about a questionable exchange with former Trump aide Anthony Scaramucci.

The news came on the day of what was supposed to be a career highlight for the 30-year C-SPAN veteran. Scully was to moderate the second debate between President Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden, which was canceled after Trump would not agree to a virtual format because of his COVID-19 diagnosis.

A week ago, after Trump had criticized him as a “never Trumper,” Scully tweeted “@Scaramucci should I respond to Trump.” Scaramucci, a former Trump communications director and now a critic of the president, advised Scully to ignore him.

Scully said that when he saw his tweet had created a controversy, “I falsely claimed that my Twitter account had been hacked.”

Politics aside, it's nice to see C-SPAN follow up and take a stand about this. "My Twitter was hacked" is the "My dog ate my homework" of our generation.
