So I like to watch the different news channels to see the takes from both sides and it was interesting to see Fox News actually blame the Trump extremism for what happened.

One thing they noted, which I think applies to either party, is that the ones who lost focused on the issues (inflation, crime, abortion) but did not really spell out how they would fix it so they didn't win any support. The ones who did have some type of plan/solution, were the ones who were able to win.

As in life/work, it's very easy to point out the problems... but it's the people who show you how they can be fixed that make things better.
 
They still will take the house and muck things up for Brandon for his next two years. I’ll take that. I’m all about the ghost in the machine.👍🏽😂

Not changed my position one inch. I’ll thrive under whoever’s in charge but this outcome still works to my advantage…I love more chaos…remember?😂😂 The war goes on…

 
Of course that’s an answer, remember, I’m a cynic. My personal point of view never changes and I never underestimate the stupidity of people. That means I can adapt and even thrive while I wait out the inevitable. This current scenario plays out just as well as the red wave one does. Divide and conquer suits me just fine.

I never asked you if you are happy with the situation... I asked you why it did not come to fruition as you predicted. But I guess that would be mean having to admit fault... is it that hard?

Trump now fighting with DeSantis... or DeSanctimonious as he called him.

That's the other reason why the red wave faltered... they are divided among the Trump and non-Trump line.
 
Besides the Trump baggage, the Republicans have been somewhat trying to become more diverse and attract minority votes, but they need a way to reach young demographics in urban areas otherwise they will keep losing (especially with mail-in-balloting become mainstream). Inflation, crimes and border security are probably not among top issues for gen Z...they need a platform to run on. not revenge tour for trump, not really Save America. They need a younger centric candidate to contrast against Biden..
 
The party to offer some type of immigration reform will win a generation for life. Each party has talked about it and has also refused to solve it since it’s a better campaign issue than problem to solve.

Sure, after they do a couple relapses and maybe get a four year sober chip.

Their core message is total crap these days. Every regulation is bad. Every tax is bad. Hand outs for large corporations. They have zero policy ideas.
