This is why I have been saying (and yet again adding to the post count of this thread) , that this discussion maybe going nowhere until we actually get the results of the midterm to burst the bubble trumpeters find themselves in right now . Just like majority of the Fox News watchers , they live in an alternate  reality .

Roseanne Barr just scored the highest rated sitcom in 4 years by creating the first pro-Trump character on network television.

Can you imagine how many more shows/movies just got greenlit to target the pro-Trump audience?  Pretty soon it will be everywhere.

The premiere was great.  People voted for Trump because he talks and acts like a normal person (unscripted).  That's relatable.  When half the country finally finds someone on TV that they can relate to and portrays an actual Trump supporter (and not as a racist, homophobic, deplorable as the media would lead you to believe), it's no wonder it garnered such high ratings.

What has the right wing world come to , huh?  Now we are good to use help from that decrepit corrupt Hollywood and tv world to justify our point .

If good tv ratings for the one episode of one show that represents all the white working class  sob stories means republicans keep the midterms then god help Democrats

On that note , let?s see what ratings stormys next appearance brings (maybe w the dvd this time) !

I hear there's a big backlog of stormy videos you can find online for free to help quench your stormy thirst.

What?s on the cd? Rumor of a dress? Idk

But this is funny...

And Trump made fun of Ted Cruz? (With the Hand on the Bible....) If I was Ted Cruz, I would be all over this.
Maybe a run for 2020?

But I don?t know about his staffer... ;)

It doesn?t bother his  supporters a wee little bit .. just a little bit

That the guy who can?t  stay off twitter to save his life , is super silent about ?stormy? ?

Perfect for the broadcast TV audience.

There is something seriously wrong with this country when white collar criminals who defraud thousands/millions of people get a slap on their wrist while someone like this woman below gets 5 years behind bars ... for voting ?

I completely agree.

When will Hillary pay for her crimes?  Funny how now that she can't offer any influence in exchange for one of her "speeches", she's being paid less than Snooki!

Hillary Clinton's $25G for Rutgers speech was less than school paid 'Snooki'

Clinton was paid $25,000 to speak at Rutgers University about being targeted as a woman in politics, the upcoming elections and the Trump administration, among other topics, NJ.com reported.

But the money she made seemed to be considerably less than some other high-profile guests who've spoken at the New Jersey school.

For example, Nicole ?Snooki? Polizzi, of ?Jersey Shore? fame, was paid $32,000 for her Rutgers appearance in 2011. Students paid for her appearance using money from the student activity fees undergraduates pay at the school, according to NJ.com.

Clinton, at one point, was asking for $275,000 to speak at a University of Missouri luncheon, according to the Washington Post. In 2008, she was reportedly paid $225,000 by the futures brokerage firm CME Group.

I haven?t followed this stupid show but hey , is this the same Roseanne Barr that

Held her crotch during the national anthem ? (I thought kneeling was where we drew the line on outrage)

Is now claiming on Twitter that trump is busting up Democratic Party child trafficking rings ?

This crackpot is now being hailed as the symbol and savior  of white grievance ?

No wonder these people can?t climb out of the hellholes they put themselves in . And then they blame hard working immigrants instead .  Maybe they should leave their trailers and get engaged with the ?real America? residing in cities and metro areas instead .

Amazes me how much energy you spend in digging up these clips from here and there .. -actually funny, keep it  up . Now only if you spend 1/2 as much  energy focused on your client s portfolios maybe they will thank you for it more than the echo chamber on this forum :)

We will be fine...

Don't panic: Republicans should remain calm about 2018

In case you haven?t noticed, Democrats and their cohorts in the anti-Trump media are giddy about 2018. After Conor Lamb?s victory in Pennsylvania?s recent special election, Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairman Jack Hanna proclaimed: ?Let it be known that the blue wave of 2018 began in Pennsylvania with Conor?s victory.?

The liberal media certainly agrees. CNN?s Chris Cillizza recently claimed Democrats have a ?much better chance of retaking the House in 2018? than they did two weeks ago. Mother Jones? Kevin Drum was even more blunt, claiming ?Republicans are terrified about the 2018 midterms? and predicting a ?surge? at the state level.

They could all use a dose of humility. According to the FiveThirtyEight Generic Ballot, the Democrats? lead over Republicans is slowly narrowing. Last December, Democrats led Republicans by a 14-point margin (50 percent to 36 percent). As of this week, their lead has shrunk to six points (46 percent to 40 percent). Fox News has the lead at five points, while Quinnipiac University?s pollsters peg it at just four points.

Public opinion is also shifting in the Republicans? favor on the issues. According to a New York Times poll (yes, the New York Times), most Americans support President Trump?s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Job creators are especially optimistic: Roughly 80 percent of small business owners support the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, while even more (83 percent) expect it to have a positive impact on the economy. Nearly 40 percent of small business owners plan to use their tax savings to hire additional employees, while others hope to invest in new technology and offer new services.

We?re already seeing renewed investment across the country. Because of federal tax cuts, more than 460 U.S. employers have announced wage hikes, 401(k) increases, and generous bonuses ? benefiting more than four million Americans. As more and more Americans see greater take-home pay, they?ll be more inclined to reward Republicans at the ballot box in November.

The booming economy only helps Republicans, too. Despite recent market volatility, U.S. consumer confidence remains near an all-time high, while the unemployment rate has dropped to 4.1 percent ? the lowest level in 17 years.

The hits keep coming ....

Democrat Wins a Bitter, Costly Race for Wisconsin Supreme Court

Milwaukee Judge Rebecca Dallet defeats Judge Michael Screnock, narrowing the conservative majority on the court to one vote.

By David Weigel

(Washington Post) -- Wisconsin Democrats declared victory on Tuesday night after Milwaukee Judge Rebecca Dallet won a bitter race for a seat on the state's Supreme Court.

Dallet's win over Judge Michael Screnock shrunk the conservative majority on the court to one vote, after a campaign that had become the latest test of Trump-era liberal activism and political spending.

Both candidates and their supporters turned the race, which is technically nonpartisan, into a political referendum. Dallet ran early ads that accused President Trump of "attack[ing] our civil rights and our values," while Screnock portrayed himself as a "rule of law" conservative endorsed by the National Rifle Association. By election day, more than $2.5 million had been spent on TV ads.

With 72 percent of the precincts reporting, Dallet had 56 percent of the vote and Screnock had 44 percent.

Voters also defeated a ballot measure that would have abolished the state treasurer's office, and which was backed by Gov. Scott Walker (R).

Beginning of that wave:

Public polling in the Senate race has been scant so far ? and mostly from partisan sources ? but all suggest a tight contest between Bredesen and Blackburn among likely voters heading into November.

Perhaps the best indicator of the closeness of the race came in recent weeks when word leaked that some Republicans, both in and out of Tennessee, were pressing Corker to reconsider his decision to retire. They reportedly voiced concerns Blackburn may be too conservative to win independents or could alienate mainstream Republicans, who have broken with their party to back Bredesen in the past. In February, Colleen Conway-Welch, the widow of Ted Welch, a major Republican donor, made headlines when she hosted a fundraiser for Bredesen.
