Can Irvine become too Asian?

If that happens.. I'm going to have to somehow force people to move.

[bring back IHOP]

There's a new IHOP on Rockfield and Lake Forest Dr.  If you live in GP/PS/WB/SG/EW, it's probably the same distance away as the one in the Market Place.

Agreed.  Need more mexican and black families.

People on welfare can't afford to live in Irvine. It's the same as Beverly Hills have too many celebrities.

As Donald Trump would say, WRONG!

I know affordable housing apartments are available in Irvine. So, to be correct, so you can't pick on the generalization, low income people can't afford to live in non-government subsidized housing in Irvine.

That's not true either. You can have parental subsidized housing. I don't think most UCI students earn enough to pay market rate housing.

You are really missing the point. I know it's a boring Sunday.

Irvine isn?t too Asian. The issue is that Caucasians feel uncomfortable if they aren?t at least 80% the majority in a setting. White is like the ethnic default setting.

I bet most whites in Irvine do not agree with this, including myself.  I usually grocery shop at Woodbury Ralph?s or 99 Ranch.  Last week I went to Lake Forest Ralph?s and felt weird (don?t know if I?d say uncomfortable, but was unfamiliar) that it was all whites shopping.

Strange I know, but true.
