[quote author="graceomalley"]I actually have 101 design flaws to whine regarding the floor plan you bought. However, I will only post after you all close the deal by then it would be too late. It is always nice to see buyers with some regrets like that TV blocking the window or hung too high in Fe's Montecito plan. A bunch of people after the TIC's focus groups voiced how much they do not approve the TV above the fireplace. Good luck in selling your home in resale. There is no remedy for that. So every time when Fe and AJ turn on the TV make sure to think about me!
BTW, the future projects will no longer have the TV above the fireplace. You all just bought a short lived Palm Pilot.

Yes, I will remember you. I have never been satisfied with the TV thing with the house we bought. To this day I still give my wife a hard time about it. But it's more like poking fun at it but anything serious. Of the architect people I have talked to, my uncle, and friends, they all said TV over fireplace is not practical. They look good in a picture that's all. Not having a TV wall in our future home is a design flaw. That doesn't take a architect to see. Still it's the house we bought and we will deal with it. One thing I would to say though, what Grace have shared with us either the IHB or here, are really valuable. You will have to pay to get it. Not unless you know such a person as a friend of course. This is not kissing Grace's butt or anything, just saying that I really appreciated. Oh by the way, restroom off of entry is bad feng shui but is it only bad if it's to the right side? consider I am walking outside from the house. Thanks.
