...maybe we'll just save up for the 2015 NSX and get the best of both worlds.  ;)

Forget the future NSX, get the new Porsche 918.http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-reviews/first-drives/2015-porsche-918-spyder-65-1-roa0813

There is a large list of times for the 'Ring.

The 918 is still a couple minutes off of the BMW F1 proposed time, haha.  (estimated at 5:15 with an average speed of 147mph  :-\)

I am hoping that when the NSX comes out with the production motor, the car creates a bit of a stir like the original NSX did. Then again, the supercar market is a bit different now than in the late 80s when Honda made Ferrari wake up and change their direction.
Still to this day, I think the NSX was one of the best designed cars in terms of appeal.  The car was designed in the late 80s and still looks good by today's standards.  I can't really say that for many other cars.  (Warning: Heavy Honda bias, haha)

I love the original NSX as well. It was ahead of its time. Having said that, the bar has certainly been raised since that time. I love competition and hope Honda can bring the goods. I'm curious what their price point and performance benchmark cars are. Will this be closer to the price/volume of a Lexus LFA or closer to 911/GTR pricing. It will be fun to see.

Hmm... maybe Doc Brown was a visionary... I wonder if Tesla sees the irony on putting those "Falcon Wings" on the Tesla X:

Can the Tesla X run on banana peels?

You guys really suck at '80s pop time travel theory.  The flux capacitor used electricity (1.21 gigawatts, and say it like Doc Brown, with a J).  The car still ran on gas (arrow in the gas line, stuck in 1885, need to hijack a train and overpressurize the boiler...anyone?  Bueller???).  In hindsight the DeLorean was a perfect choice for the time machine (aside from flux dispersal), since it only had to go in a straight line and only up to 88mph.

I did a quick Wikipedia search and apparently there is a shocking wealth of detail on the famous time traveling car. Help yourself here to all the fictional 80's technology here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeLorean_time_machine

morekaos beat me...

"Can I get a HOT TUB!!!"

(many homes built in the 70s/80s must have done lots of time traveling... that's all I see in the back yard, either in-ground or raised... no pool... just a hot tub)

Hey I thought we're getting matching Model X falcon wings for Orchard Hills!  :)

You're gonna put a carseat in the Model S Tesla?  haha.. does it even have latch points?
