Historic Optimism in Direction of Country Under Trump

New polling from Rasmussen Reports shows that 50 percent of Americans now believe the United States is on the right track – a historic high.

Rasmussen pollster Mark Mitchell stated that the results were significant because this was the first time in the company’s “polling history A MAJORITY says the country is on the right track.” Rasmussen first began trackingwhether Americans believed the country was on the wrong track or the right track in 2006.

And then…

Trump's Economy Is Crushing Expectations

“President Trump’s America First Economic Agenda has created a BOOMING economy — jobs are up, unemployment is down, wages are increasing, and inflation is dead,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement. “More than 139,000 good jobs were added to the private sector in May, all accounted for by American-born workers. Americans should continue to trust in President Trump, who continues to beat expectations.”

Average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls rose by 15 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $36.24 in May. Over the past 12 months, average hourly earnings have increased by 3.9 percent. In May, average hourly earnings of private-sector production and nonsupervisory employees rose by 12 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $31.18.

Economist Steve Moore called it a “blockbuster economy,” highlighting 4.5% GDP growth in the second quarter and stable prices as signs that jobs are widely available for those who want them.

We all know the difference. Skin color. White people do this and it’s considered patriotic. Anyone else does it and it’s a crime against America.

I can assure you based on family at these riots: whitey was well represented all through the rock throwing crowd.

https://www.danielgreenfield.org/2025/06/californias-oligarchy.html

California Democrats don’t have a democracy, from the top on down, they have an oligarchy run by clans with longstanding relationships where family members rise to political power. Or as the Los Angeles Times summed up the transition from Gov. Jerry Brown to Gov. Gavin Newsom, “Brown and Newsom are members of a political fraternity that dominated their shared hometown of San Francisco for much of the 20th century.”

What does well represented mean? :)

And why the Marines? Again, if this was Biden, morekaos would have created 7 different threads already.
The narratives are:

A) The rioters are Mexicans/Illegals/minorities since it's DTLA, Compton, and Paramount burning.

And

B) If these were white folks it would be considered an insurrection with "get outta jail cards" handed out.

Neither thoughtlines are true.

I know what is true: the US President with the highest number of deportations was.... Obama. Did we see riots then? Nope. Did we see rebellion? Nope.

Ask yourself a question - Are these riots authentic because ICE is bad (like when Obama was deporting folks using ICE) or are these riots simply another reason complain that Orange Man Bad then loot the nearest Apple Store?

Obama and Biden deportation numbers are high because a lot of illegals were crossing during their term.
Trumps deportation numbers are low because of so much less people crossing now.
I'm not sure if the above is true, but sounds logical.

Having ICE pick up illegals @ Home Depot is dysotopian.
But the Orange turds gotta pump those rookie numbers up.

Wait. B is an oxymoron.

Were the Obama ICE arrests similar?

B isn't an Oxymoron. Many people believe that if this was primarily a white lead protest (not "white nationalist", but the crowd being primarily white) that the heavy hand of law enforcement would offer a lighter touch - a double standard compared to version A.

Deportations are handled by ICE, with some lower volume work done by DOJ, so essentially, yes they were similar.

Remember those in the MSM decrying how "Trump put children in cages!!?" nonsense? Those were cages Obama set up that were being reused. But... Orange Man Bad.... Also, Biden reused those cages as well before losing track of thousands of illegal alien children. What horror show that has been.

Let's be clear: this isn't about immigrants. It's about anarchy. Listen to some of the X, IG, and Tik-Tock posts from the rioters themselves. They are the best Vance for President 2028 advertising reels one could ever wish for.

100 percent preventable had Newsom and Bass simply followed the law and abandoned Sanctuary policies that harm this nation and the rule of law.

Please don't misunderstand or misinterpret things here. I've long said we need to bring back a Bracero program. I'd also be willing to pay $20.00 for an avocado if the extra money went into a decent wage for agriculture workers. As we all know, it's a pipe dream given how these 21st century slave laborers are too valuable more as a commodity than they are as just human beings.

B is an oxymoron because it doesn't really follow what an insurrection is and if it did, there would not be get out of jail cards like the Jan 6 insurrection.

But whatever.

As for morekaos bias... polling is what polling does:

"approval rating has taken a plunge"

And notice how morekaos didn't care about economic rating until he could cherry pick some favorable ones.

Hilarious.

This is probably how the movie Civil War started... or Handmaid's Tale.

The title of the Newsweek article says "Donald Trump's Approval Rating Plunges" yet when you read the article it says:

"Recent surveys have shown Trump's approval rating creeping back up after a period of decline following the introduction of his "Liberation Day" tariffs in April, which led to a decline in the stock market."

Also, "for the most part, Trump's approval and disapproval ratings appear stable or slightly improving, suggesting that while he's not gaining significant new support, he's also not losing ground."

Does it seem like the editor who wrote the headline didn't read the article?

Yep. Same thing either way if you read other articles.

Now anyone who doesn't think this National Guard / Marines thing is hypocritical is biased.

Do I think these rioters should be arrested... Yes... Punished to the full extent of the law. Did you think that of the Jan 6 protestors? No. And that's the difference.

…and the hits just keep on comn!!👍🏽😂😂😂🇺🇸

GM to invest $4 billion in U.S. plants amid tariffs for Mexican-produced vehicles

  • GM plans to invest $4 billion in several American plants, including adding production of two popular Chevrolet vehicles that are currently built in Mexico.
  • The Detroit automaker announced the plans Tuesday, as there have been few indications of progress in trade talks between the Trump administration and Mexican leaders.
  • The investment and moves will likely be hailed as a win for Trump’s policies and automotive tariffs, which took effect for imported vehicles in April and many auto parts in May.

That article sure seems to paint a brighter picture then it’s biased headline….🤦🏽‍♂️😂😂😂👍🏽🇺🇸

“The numbers from May are also significantly better than Trump's average over the 48 months of his first presidency (41 percent), surpassing former President Joe Biden's average approval rating for his full term (41 percent) and his approval rating for his final year (40 percent).”

Now anyone who doesn't think this National Guard / Marines thing is hypocritical is biased.

Trump authorized the national guard for J6 just like he did for this LA riot. Dems are consistent in refusing the help of the national guard. Pelosi told a whopper of a lie today that she begged Trump to send in the national guard on J6 but he would not do it. Well, let's see what congressional Republicans uncovered about this subject ....

https://justthenews.com/government/...guard-wasnt-pre-positioned-protect-capitol-j6

Just the News reported two years ago that President Donald Trump’s outgoing Pentagon leadership team offered the National Guard to Congress via the Capitol Police four days ahead of the Jan. 6 crisis but was turned down. The offer and its rejection by Deputy Police Chief Sean Gallagher was memorialized in an after-action timeline created by the Capitol Police to review security failures.

"Carol Corbin (DOD) texts USCP Deputy Chief Sean Gallagher, Protective Service Bureau, to determine whether USCP is considering a request for National Guard soldiers for January 6, 2021 event," the timeline stated in the lone entry listed for Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021. The following morning, the timeline states, "Gallagher replies to DOD via text that a request for National Guard support not forthcoming at this time after consultation with COP Sund."

In bombshell testimony last year, ex-Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund told Congress he wanted the National Guard in advance of Jan. 6 but was denied permission to ask for them by the top security officials reporting to Pelosi and incoming Senate Leader Chuck Schumer. “On January 3, I requested the assistance of the National Guard to support my perimeter and was denied by the two Sergeants at Arms over the concerns for politics and optics,” he testified.

10,000 national guard authorized by Trump and turned down by Pelosi.

In Irvine, Calif., ICE agents drove a phalanx of military vehicles in the Orange County suburb to arrest a person, though not for illegal immigration. They were seeking a resident’s son who had allegedly posted fliers alerting neighbors to the presence of ICE agents.

Also in the article: agents making arrests without identifying themselves or their agency. No badges. Masked in plain clothes. No warrants.

I wish the libertarian part of the Republican party would grow a spine against this federal authoritarian shit. It's fascinating to watch Republicans cry foul about federal overreach and then cheer this trampling of laws and rights.

The writer used unnamed sources and "officials" (dog catchers? food inspectors?) to "verify" the actions listed above. The claims are suspect at best. I was told by a person in LA. "ICE went into a high school graduation ceremony and arrested people!!!" Which is simply a fable - one that is guaranteed to rille up low information rioters.

FYI you don't need a warrant to arrest someone. In some cases you do, but not all. The police are under no obligation to immediately "notify families" of an arrest, although the court might. The arrested can also call family. The law has been clear since before Obama began the mass deporting people: illegal aliens have no due process rights.

It's been strange listening to protestors claim "YOU CAN'T DEPORT US. WE WERE HERE FIRST!!" The First People's of the LA Basin pushed into mass graves by the Conquistadors, and by the Mexican Rancho owners obviously beg to differ.
