We will see how 'going home' with top line 24x7 full medical team goes. The whitehouse will basically have a portablw ICU room ready.

Meanwhile, Darrel America, might be able to get a test today if he didnt get too sick to rush to the ER over the weekend if he found out he was exposed last Thursday and felt run down.  In about week, he'd get the results.  Again provided he didnt progress warranting an ER run.  If lucky on the weekend with fever and mild cough, maybe he would have gotten into the hospital.

Once there he wouldnt have gotten anything Trump has gotten, unless he got really sick.

And his doctors wouldnt lie for him.

Or let him take an SUV ride.

Guess we all get to wait and see if Trump, trumps himself into a 2nd week crash.

PS> had to go pick up some home supplies today.  Noticed an obvious increase in chin diapers and non-maskers compared to the last two weeks.

Rudy was coughing a lot on Fox News. The fallout continues...

Didn't realize it had been confirmed he needs that too.

Why is Elon even in the vaccine conversation? He has ZERO expertise in the matter...

Idk about Elon. I just brought up Elon because I know many people on TI like him. But regarding the vaccine trial it is concerning that it is not going smoothly. That?s what happen when you get rushed.
They are actually going pretty darn smooth - downright amazing when you consider the timeframe everyone has been working through (if they succeed with this by the end of the year - this would be a monumental accomplishment).  The J&J vaccine is going well and while the Astra Zeneca had some data pop up about a patient - it doesn't appear that it was directly tied to the vaccine.

For whomever referenced Chorlox(sp) and Trump - he wouldn't have taken it because it is very clearly proven to NOT WORK.

And eyephone - you don't have to just follow the media here or what different people say - look at what is going on in other global countries. Astra Zeneca is only stopped in the US right now - Canada and Europe continue to move forward with pretty positive progress. Maybe not as perfect as people would want in terms of efficacy, but as it relates to side effects, etc, everything seems very very positive.

Note: None of this is a view of any of the politics - because these are companies and their scientists flat out kicking butt!

If you look at the poll numbers done by Axios regarding the covid vaccine. Americans want to make sure the vaccine is good to go and not rushed due to politics.
I already mentioned a participant in U.K. trial had to be rushed to the hospital due to spinal problems after the covid trial vaccine.

I will take it once it is tested properly. Not rushed out the door.
You want to give extra credit because they are doing there job? They suppose to do their job making the vaccine. That is like saying you should give me extra props because I take care of my kid. Lol

Yes - the medical vaccine companies should get credit for coming up with a vaccine to fight a virus we had never seen. This is guiness book of world record stuff. Your statement on this is just complete naivety and I shouldn't be surprised.

You clearly don't read much - because the UK trial is already back up and rolling again as is Canada (I literally commented about it in my post - but you ignored that). The trial was paused because of an issue and they had to do independent checking to see if the issue was due to the vaccine or just a completely unique event (people get sick and have things emerge and in this case one of the participants had something pop up which caused an issue and AstraZ had to evaluate their data to see if there were indications this was due to the vaccine or a completely independent event.  They finished said investigation and restarted trials in UK & Canada (US is only place that hasn't restarted - couldn't tell you what the hold up is / isn't).

And I'm not going to worry much about what the president stated and instead focus on what the actual medical companies and those with licenses and certifications in the field do - including fact that these big trials are going to be open for professionals to peer review.

Axios:

Lack of trust in a potential coronavirus vaccine is becoming a truly major problem, according to a new Stat/Harris Poll survey shared with Axios.

By the numbers: 79% of respondents said they would worry about a vaccine's safety if it's approved quickly, and 75% said they worry about politics ? rather than science ? driving the process.

Lets cut to the number in the poll that matters - vs. your snippets talking about the politics. We already know people don't trust Trump - the bigger picture that I keep telling you is these companies continue to say they are going to do the right thing.  Why would they act on Trump's behalf to speed things up a month early and open themselves up to potential legal litigation that would literally put them out of business. They have no incentive - maybe if Trump was leading the polls by double digits - they would under some view of litigation protection, but Trump is sinking massively in the polls (not saying he's going to lose - I don't buy the polls, especially when it comes to Trump - won't count him out until the election is over), so no company is going to do things because of Trump's hammer at this point (the dude has zero leverage).

The important stat of the poll is the one you are ignoring - which is to no surprise since you make everything political vs. factual (its unfortunate how both sides of the aisles extremes are complete and utter hypocrites - but in some ways that is the one constant of politics) - 54% of the population says they WILL take a vaccine and an even higher percentage (58%) say they will get their kids vaccine.  That isn't as high of a number as I would have liked - but that is still a pretty high number given how polarized our country is and fact that you already have a chunk of the population that are anti-vaxxers that are never going to take this thing.

It is a trust problem with Trump. That is what it comes down to.
Some people they are skipping corners. Maybe even skipping a trial phase.

You are sounding more and more like a fake Republican.

Could it be that this whole this about Positive Test be fake? He is probably not sick at all ... just faking to show he got it, he overcame this and so don't make a big deal of Covid? He shows to his base he is strong and solidifies his position.

Maybe you should about the whistleblower from the NIH. He resisted promoting Hydroxychloroquine and sidelined from doing work to combat covid.

Did you see him breathe when he came back to the WH? It looked like he needed oxygen.

It could be that he was catching a breath after climbing the flight of stairs. The showman in him didn't die whatsoever during this period

That is laughable. He has covid and possibly having breathing problems. We do not know because the doctor has not told us everything. That is what the experts are saying.

My favorite statement by Trump. Do not be afraid of covid. Uh okay.
Maybe we should forget about the 210k people who died of covid.
