Let's shoot for Friday at Gardena Ramen. The owner of Shuchan Ramen is only open at Toji for Lunch, so we'll have to save that for a weekend.

aug 8 is a fri, not sat. if its fri, actually thats pref for me and i realy want to try either the fried chicken or pizza. let us know which day you were thinking.

Post updated! It should be Saturday. I'll try to shoot for both weekday night and weekend events so it'd fit in everyone's schedule.

Update: Gardena Ramen Review



Restaurant facilities: B (simple and clean)

Ramen soup base: Shoyu - A, Miso - B

Ramen noodle: B

Chasu Pork: C



The Shoyu soup base was very, very good. The Miso soup base was too salty IMO. Ramen noodle is good, but the pork is so-so. Will repeat for shoyu ramen.



The bowl doesn't look very big, but the normal serving size comes with a lot of noodle and is quite filling. You can order extra large serving for $1 more, but I didn't think it was necessary.
 
So far I've received no confirmations for this weekend (Sat 9th), so let's open it up for everyone to vote on.

Chicken! On Sat or Sun would be fine. I'm going to be at the Costa Mesa Gun Show on the 16th, so lunch might be iffy, but i'm readily available for dinner.

Please note that there are two Korean chicken restaurants in the plaza. This one is the one closest to the intersection of Beach and Malvern, next door to the Big O Tires.
