NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Well... I think the way that works out is they could trade Nash after this season if they can make a deal.

Nash still wants to play, and they might be able to get that $9m off the books if they can put a package together... but why any team would want Nash at that price is beyond me. I think they can also waive him and hope someone picks him up to reduce that $9m (some formula that probably only Tyler knows).

So basically, they were trying not to end Nash's career in hopes he could return or they could work something out.

But yes, it doesn't seem like they are making smart moves in the front office however if you look at it, when Kobe's and Nash's salaries clear after next season, they could sign TWO good free agents for 15-16 and will also have at least one draft pick from this season getting better and maybe another next season.

That was a beat down....like an NBA team playing a D-league team.  Easy bet laying 11pts with the Clips.  Too bad Miami had to ruin the fun of winning 2 bets today.

Suck for Wiggy or Parker.  Hopefully we can draft our future during the offseason.  I don't anticipate we make big FA splashes until Kobe's on his last year of contract.

It's confirmed... no more Kobe this season.

I wonder how effective he can be since he is now "injury prone". It's like Nash, started with something and then other things kept propping up.

Who thinks D12 made a bad decision now?

Lakers hopefully we get in the top 3.. all of which look to have star power in them for the draft.

Favorite time of the year, NBA playoffs, games to watch 24/7.  Was fun watching the clips stumble.  "It's time....... to bow out in the 1st round"

It's so funny how Laker lovers really hate the Clips.

My cousin kept saying that he's not a bandwagon-er and hopes the Clips get swept... and I was telling him that considering the Lakes are a few years away from being good again, he should just be happy that an LA team is in the playoffs.

I like the Ducks over the Kings, but I was rooting for the Kings when they were on their Stanley Cup run.

Haters gonna' hate.

"It's time" for Laker fans to recognize it's going be this way for a while. :)

And yes... the Clips blew it. They had at least 3 chances to tie or retain the lead in the last 2 minutes... that's not Doc, that's players (including CP3).

Doesn't bode well for them because home court advantage shifts to GS but it's a long series... hopefully the refs relax and BG stays out of foul trouble on Monday.

I'm a laker fan but pulling for the clippers. Just like I pull for the pac12 when they play in the bowls. I think they will still win the series. It's just annoying how some guys tend not to get criticized the way others do.
