<p>A call missed at the end of a game that POTENTIALLY could have changed the outcome of the game (no one knows if a shot that never occurred would actually go in, the chances are probably less than 50% that it would) doesn't take anything away from the Bruins win IMO. If I recall correctly, that particular shot was to TIE the game, not go ahead. </p>
<p>A basketball ball game is very long, not just a moment in time. There are foul calls missed all game long that can effect the score. There are bad fouls called that can effect the score... The outcome of the game is decided by accumulation of these moments in time, not just what happens on one play at the end of the game.</p>
