Yeah, I just got back from doing some work on my rental and showing a few properties to someone looking to buy a second residence out here. I got out of the pool and relaxing inside on IHB...it's been an active Saturday morning and afternoon for IHB.

I was noticing that, I can't remember so much activity in the forums on the weekend. I was actually going to comment on it. It's usually so dead beginning on Friday night, but not this weekend.

Back from Pasadena. Watched a great Indy film. Deliberately skipped sushi there so the taco truck better be good.

Friend of mine said that it is stashed away in the tiny plaza behind Pizza Hut Delivery so it is kinda hidden. There was a line about 30 minutes ago but he said it wasn't too bad. I wanted to check it out, but was a little tired from wine tasting in Temecula today ;)

I punked out and ate at the Marketplace CPK after a heavy day of kid stuff and errands, and will miss a golden opportunity to visit the glorious Kogi when it is just 15 minutes from home. How lame am I? No gold cup for Patrick tonight!

Atleast Trojan is at his hotel posting on IHB and NOT doing anything naughty in Vegas. What is all the hype about Kogi Korean BBQ? Is it any good?

How long is the line? More importantly, how long until YOU are at the front of the line? Can I get there from home before you get to the front?? ;)

I don't know if it's good but you guys ALMOST got me to run out there tonight. We are expecting full reviews from Bk, Eva, Cayci (and Graph, I guess) and it seems, possibly even CK by tomorrow. Gotta love the hype! Someone is a genius.

The line is short now though it was around the corner a little while ago. Line is only about 6 people deep right now. Be adventurous. Come down and get some!

The ordering line is short but the waiting for the food line is long. About a hundred people standing in the parking lot.

I don't say at a hotel when I'm in Vegas, my dad owns a home in Summerlin by the Red Rock Casino which is where I'll be heading shortly to play some poker. Wish me luck.

Wishing you luck USC, we stayed at the Red Rock last year, really enjoyed it. The pools are amazing and they actually have on-site childcare that the kids absolutely loved. A little off topic, but the rooms there were also amazing. I have some great photos of my husband and the kids in the jacuzzi bathtub watching the Olympics on the flatscreen in the bathroom, pretty funny. We spent some time in the Poker Room also during the few hours the kids were happily playing games. Excuse the interruption, back to the Kogi, I'd be there if I wasn't home alone with sleeping kids.

Be there in 20 minutes. Somebody else you know will be along as well.

How'd I miss this one? I'm stuck at home babysitting my smoker! Aw man!

I made a couple of changes to my smoker and I need to be extra vigilent and not leave it.....bogus.

I'm taking a flyer and going down right now. Wish us luck!

We are home now. The wait wasn't too long, the truck is buried in a strip mall across the street from the Target strip mall near the Village. It was interesting, kind of illicit or something. Anyhow people were nice!

I had 2 of the short rib tacos, BK had 2 short rib tacos, 1 chicken and 1 pork tacos. Bks daughter had 1 short rib taco, 1 chicken and 1 pork taco and a kimchi quesadilla. I can verify that there was no fat anywhere on the short rib tacos I had, the meat was lean and tender and the flavor was a little sweet, a little smoky, a little spicy and altogether delicious. There was both lettuce, and cabbage mixed in with some chili oil, caramelized onions, vinegar a little sugar and the marinaded meat. Id eat it again anytime. Its totally worth chasing a taco truck in the dark...

My understanding is that they dont have a permit for OC yet so they kind of bury the truck and try not to attract too much attention, other than the people who follow them on twitter. Tons of Asians and Hispanics and a smattering of white people. The folks we talked to came from all over!

Give it a try, its actually a really nice experience!

As you all can see Momo is somewhere in Asia sweeping up cash off the streets of Asia and Mrs BK has now taken over his Dining Moderator position during his absence.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I was visiting family in Serrano Heights, Orange. I was only blocks from Meats St. I just got home around 11:00 PM and read this news!! arghh!!
