Came across this old 2002 map indicated that Eastwood, portion of Woodbury and western portion of Stonegate was originally proposed as a gated community.
You can't have public school inside of a gated community so if EW was gated, that elementary school will never be build here. I guess that's a pretty good trad off for a lot of people.
