This appears to stem from diary entries that Sen. Rand Paul released in July 2026. Multiple news outlets have reported that the diaries mention Fauci suffering a pulmonary infarction after being vaccinated, and RFK Jr. is citing those reports. I am not aware of any public statement by Fauci announcing that he had a pulmonary infarction.
However, that by itself does not establish wrongdoing.
