Say goodbye to Lance and hi to Jeff Green from the Grizzlies. (Clips also have a first round pick to the Grizzlies)

Why? Aren't they better now?

They got rid of both head cases (they traded away Josh Smith earlier). Lance is better offensively than Jeff Green but they need a defensive player to help them against Spurs and GSW.

just no chance against the top 2 WCF teams.  They are now in NBA limbo.. not bad but not good enough to win a title.

Btw - Clips stomped on the Spurs tonight. 105-86

It's interesting because they actually seem to be playing better without Blake The Snake Roberts.

Don't get me wrong, Blake is awesome, but too many times last season when the game was close, they relied on him and it didn't pan out. Plus, he's not a really good defender compared to other power forwards.

Your athletics can only take you so far.. guys like Blake aren't good clutch players because they lack the high end skill that superstars have to finish the game.

The rumor was that Blake was not traded because a team didn't offer the Clippers a star player in return. So maybe this summer Blake might get traded.
 
Clipper curse rears its ugly head again.

They might have been able to beat the Warriors with a hobbled Curry but not without CP3... and Blake re-injured his quad.

Gah.

Spurs/OKC is going to be good.
 
Balmer is looking more on the west side but I think he should bring them back to the Pond.

I would go to more games if they weren't in LA.
