Cadence Park - Great Park

No idea why they keep building bocce ball courts. I've never seen anybody actually play there except for some little kids digging in the dirt.

"bocce ball courts" sounds fancy and the cost to build is much cheaper than tennis or basketball courts.

Yep, also no riff raffs with bocce ball. No calls to Hoa patrols, cops. No maintenance like replacing nets as with tennis or basketball.

You guys haven't seen street bocce ball?

Those And 1 mix tapes have nothing on a no-look between the legs bowl that gets right up to the jack.

Just think of it as curling but with balls... so exciting!!! :)

Lennar recently posted about Cadence Park pre-sales for their eight communities on March 24.

FivePoint Home Plans: Go Big Now, Cheaper Next
1,007 Homes at Cadence Park Scheduled to Open This Month

By Mark Mueller
Monday, March 5, 2018

?As the developer of Irvine?s Great Park Neighborhoods prepares to take the wraps off its latest new, and relatively expensive, homes at its Cadence Park community this month, the company is also proceeding with plans for a 723-home project that could include much more affordable price points...?

Note: one must be a OCBJ subscriber to read the rest of the article!

Interesting... I believe the upcoming and affordable GPN?s 723 homes will be at District 1 - West. Construction crews are already working at District 1 - West and the area is fenced off.

Welp, there goes the neighborhood.  Beacon Park owners should sell now before the riff raff move in across the street.

Evoke information is now online (was Cal Atlantic Homes, but now Lennar).

Evoke will range from 1,651-2,408 sq ft

?Evoke at Cadence Park in the Great Park Neighborhoods is a new collection of single-living flats located in Irvine. Choose from two single-story floorplans...?

Google Maps has filled in the major street names. Looks like they are going with fine arts and performing arts... Names like

Pixel
Balance
Drama
Sculpture
Masterpiece
Scale
Theme
Perspective
Blue Note
Chord
Score

"I live at the intersection of Drama and Perspective."... haha.

I waited an hour for boba at Beacon Park Lunar New Year.  I?m going early this time!

I guess, the HOA can?t filter out non residence of GP, otherwise you could have seconds from the much shorter line. I guess lots of freeloader on these kind of events.

HOA better implement Woodbury style controls--residents at events must have special wrist bands.

Great Park Neighborhoods website now has Cadence Park home details for models from Lennar, Richmond American, KB, K Hov and Tri Pointe.
https://www.greatparkneighborhoods.com/homes

KB?s Prado?s floor plans for Cadence Park are attached below. Prado will offer three different condos which range from 1,733 sq ft to 2,766 sq ft.

It appears that KB Home?s Prado at Cadence Park is a detached condo community of 87 units.
https://sites.google.com/iusd.org/cadence-park-k-8/enrollment
https://www.greatparkneighborhoods.com/homes/prado

The GPN website now has some updated images of some Cadence Park homes including KB Home?s Prado:
https://www.greatparkneighborhoods.com/homes/
https://www.greatparkneighborhoods.com/homes/prado

Did anybody else notice that Prado?s residence 2 appears to have a detached garage?
