Anyone been watching the Towering Inferno at Marquee Place?

Thats true. The $1200 HOA isn't deductible, nor going to equity... I'm now thinking i'd want to pay considerably less per sq.ft, despite the nice views some of them have.

Cured!!

[quote At least the plaza and 3000 have much better common areas and units.]

When comparing The Plaza units quality and common areas it's important to factor in the party lifestyle issues common there. Great if you want to relive the Frat Days....below is a snapshot of my disappointing experience living there:

I got the projectile vomit on the first picture. The second one is unclear.

Am I correct to assume that is either somebody's underwear or did somebody shit in the hall?

BTW, epic post. Biggest win of 2009 on the IHB.

Even if it isn't, it looks like a hallway is just trashed. I was reading apartment reviews for a while a few months ago before the move. I looked at this late model building in the CSUF area...and heard nothing but these kind of stories. I steered clear. With such a premium for the property itself PLUS the astronomical HOA, I would be pissed here too. Would it be safe to say it's the "accidental landlord" units that this kind of stuff comes from?

The guess on the second picture is correct on both counts - men's underwear AND sh*t a few feet away from it. Just another good example of "The Plaza Projects"

Ugh hopefully the human underwear and poop don't share the same DNA and that's just pet doo doo. I remember reading from somewhere that the Marquee Park Place doesn't allow pets but the Plaza Irvine allows them. It seems difficult to have pets in high rises, they either poop on the balcony or else there's the possibility of accidents in the hallways and elevators before the pets get to walk.

Is that the people who complain or the offender? Guess someone bought a unit to party at =D

Wonder how long it would take for the HOA to BK and the project to implode.

I thought the soundproofing was much better in high rise units than at typical apartments with concrete between floors as well as between units on the same floor and double pane windows.

After reading Graphs post on scumbag Sadek I feel we must follow his condo in the Tower of Terror

Or get pushed from... Bellagio has filed and, I think, awarded judgment from the OC superior court. Anyone that could look up case number 30-2008-00116689-CU-EN-CJC and let me know how much the judgment is for, that would be awesome. ;-) It also looks like he will be spending a lot of time there at the superior court with all the cases he is involved with, in case anyone would like to meet him.

IIRC that is some magazine cover that he is on. This guy broke the douchebag scale with that one. I could be wrong about the magazine cover, but he would still break the scale.

That is what I heard from someone I did some work for. I also heard that this tool had Eddie Griffen crash his Ferrari Enzo to get publicity for his boxoffice bomb Redline.

The sad part is that the insurance company apparently didn't pick up that it was done on purpose and ended up footing the bill.

I knew that douche bag looked so familiar (assuming he's the guy). I'm actually embarassed to admit I've been to Ten on a number of occasions, but based on my last experience there, vowed to never go back, which is easy enough. This guy is a total loser and tool.

I don't hit up clubs a ton, but they threw a great new years party last year. The crowd isn't my favorite, but it does an OK job and they seem to have good security/polite staff, which is worth a lot in my book. I've never been tempted to punch a bouncer in the face, like most of the times I've been to Sutra...

Unit 1304 in the 3131 building, that owed nearly $1.25mil, was taken back by the bank today for $744k. 41% off! Come on you guys, you know you want to be a bidder for the hottest property in OC... circa 2005.
