So now it’s all about performance? Look, I could care less if you want to go 0-60 in 3 seconds…power to you…just don’t get that on the taxpayers dime. You want to do that quietly? Bigger waste of time not thinking for yourself and letting the Singularity think for you. My gripe has always been about misuse of public funds to finance an unproven policy. If EVs are superior products…let them earn that title in the free markets!!Merica!!

The consumer is who decides if “superior” technology is worth the price…like I said, now that the crutches are taken away let’s see if your “superior technology” will stand on its own and thrive. You have to admit, massive accelerated adoption did not materialize as you hoped. (And I predicted). Now let’s see how it goes with which kind of car people “prefer”.
