Lot 83 was once priced at $4.5M. Now at $3.5M. What a deal, eh?

It depends on where you get the view from. Most homes would at least get the view from the Great Room. I have Cielo Plan 1, where I get view all the way from my office, where I spend a lot of time in. My wife loves working in the backyard and spends a lot of time there. Having said that, would spend $500k for a view lot, let alone $1M? Hell, no. I would definitely spend an extra $100k, or even consider spending an extra $200k, but no more than that.guys - how many hours per day will you spend on viewing in.from.at your view lots? and what view is so attractive, please educate me, I am lost at this view lot idea.
I mean, you could get the same thing in Eastvale, but the question is, would you even consider living there?I was in Sacramento this weekend for work, and this is what 1.7m gets you in the sub there... https://www.redfin.com/CA/Elk-Grove/3604-Agneta-Ct-95758/home/19289648

View lot 83 for a non-view lot 63 price.Lot 63 isn't a view lot. Unless you consider the neighbor behind you on a hill a nice view. Lot 64 has a partial view (side view), but lot 63 is completely non-view.
I agree. How about $3.2M in cash? ;-)There is more wiggle room for lot 83 if there is a serious buyer.
If I lived in elevation, I would prefer a view lot.
But I would pay for a corner lot location first.
That sounds like a Chinese retired family --- following their kids wherever they go.yep I asked myself this question today - no - we are bugging out of CA as soon as kids are college. We spent many years in VA/OH/WI during early 20-30s, we might just follow kids somehow if that comes down to where to retire.
Is that a thing? That sounds like a Chinese retired family --- following their kids wherever they go.
Where did they end up moving?I've met a couple folks a lot older than I am who have moved to lower cost of living places to be near kids.
that is odd to think about - Chinese culture requires/asks the kids to be closer to parents I think. That sounds like a Chinese retired family --- following their kids wherever they go.
Johns Creek, Georgia? LOLWhere did they end up moving?
