Tarrifs are clearly working but not according to how 50 Nobel laureate economist thought..they are working as a career Wharton Business grad said they would…😂😂😂👍🏽🇺🇸

They are, and the producers are also eating them. As the negotiated tariffs level off, prices (inflation) will not be affected as they thought. This is exactly what has happened. 50 Noble economists were wrong again.😂😂😂👍🏽🇺🇸

Some things to think about:

1. Dealer/OEM rebates and incentives on leases are often times better than purchase (like conquest/loyalty discounts) even on non-EVs.

2. Money factor depreciation curve is straight line vs finance interest/principal curve.

3. You only pay sales tax on the monthly vs the entire vehicle.

4. You have more options at end of lease.

I don't look at leasing as renting, because you don't have the option of buying an apartment you rent. I see it more like try before you buy or even a way to drive a nicer car for the same payment. I don't put money down on leases and unlike purchases, there is usually built in gap insurance that will cover you on a total loss.

For EVs, purchase requirements have income and MSRP restrictions, leasing gets around that and you can decide to purchase your lease after only a month at a lower price but that depends on the deal.

There are more benefits but I don't really need to Option ARM anyone here. You decide what works for you but there are always benefits if you know the facts.

That's the problem with morekaos, he only looks at his preconceived notions... If he applied his Trump-colored glasses to other things, he may have a better outlook.
I can see the little game you all play. Cute. Also, please do not imply I don’t understand how a lease / purchase is beneficial or not. I simply don’t care.

I'm on work travel up north and hadn't heard the news. I left work late, around midnight, and mapped myself to an open eatery someone at my host site recommended. Google maps came up with the route and then said, "Your route may be impacted by a tsunami warning".

Its going as planned…next up poor hotel workers…well played Boy King…Well played…👎🏽😡🦄🌈

CA Minimum Wage Law Succeeds for Libs: Obliterates Jobs, Lands Nearly 20k People Closer to Street Living

California’s latest “victory” in progressive policymaking is now measurable in lost jobs.

The state’s $20 fast-food minimum wage law has reportedly cost nearly 18,000 jobs, according to a study published by the National Bureau of Economic Research earlier this month.

Researchers Jeffrey Clemens, Olivia Edwards, and Jonathan Meer found that fast food jobs in California dropped 3.2 percent after AB 1228 went into effect in April.

“Our median estimate translates into a loss of 18,000 jobs in California’s fast-food sector relative to the counterfactual,” they wrote.

So much for helping low-income workers.

“Wage controls never work,” she wrote for The Daily Signal. “Policymakers can set wage laws, but they can’t outlaw the consequences.”

She added a warning: “The consequences of that wage hike on the fast-food industry should be a warning sign” for the city of Los Angeles in particular, after it recently voted to increase the minimum wage for hotel and airport workers to $30 by 2028.

What a hypocritical dbag the boy king is….he is busy trying to bandage the self inflicted gunshot wound in his foot before he bleeds out before the 2028 election…best of luck…🤦🏽‍♂️😂😂😂👎🏽🦄🌈

Gavin Newscum Suddenly Loves Big Oil Now That Commiefornia’s Gas Crisis Threatens His Election Chances

Newsom’s administration is now scrambling to keep refineries open and reportedly moving to incentivize in-state oil drilling, according to Politico. California’s Democratic leaders have sued energy companies, unleashedstringent regulations and demonized the industry to add pressure on energy companies for years, but Newsom and some Democrats are now fighting to retain the state’s oil and gas industry as California’s energy problems come to a head and as Newsom reportedly gets ready for a possible 2028 run for president.

“After years of pushing radical climate policies that punished working families, Governor Newsom is finally waking up to what Californians need, he’s now scrambling to secure the very fossil fuels he tried to eliminate,” CEO of the American Energy Institute Jason Isaac told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “This sudden embrace of petroleum isn’t leadership, it’s survival. California’s energy future depends on realism, not green delusions.”

Bed, Bath & Beyond flees California, tells the world exactly why

We will not open or operate retail stores in California.

This decision isn’t about politics — it’s about reality.California has created one of the most overregulated, expensive, and risky environments for businesses in America. It’s a system that makes it harder to employ people, harder to keep doors open, and harder to deliver value to customers. The result? Higher taxes, higher fees, higher wages that many businesses simply cannot sustain, and endless regulations that strangle growth. Even when the state announces a budget surplus, it’s built on the backs of ordinary citizens who are paying too much and businesses who are squeezed until they break. At Bed Bath & Beyond, our responsibility is to our customers and our shareholders. We will not participate in a system that undermines both. Instead, we are investing in a California strategy that works: 24–48-hour delivery, and in many cases, same-day service. Californians will continue to get the products they love through BedBathandBeyond.com — but without the inflated costs created by an unsustainable model.

We’re taking a stand because it’s time for common sense. Businesses deserve the chance to succeed. Employees deserve jobs that last. And customers deserve fair prices. California’s system delivers the opposite. That’s why Bed Bath & Beyond willserve California customers directly through BedBathandBeyond.com, on our terms, and with their best interests at heart.

I don't know anyone who shops at bed, bath and beyond these days... mediocre offerings at premium prices. Agree that CA is overregulated but marcus here is simply deflecting at this point. There are countless businesses out here that have learned to adapt and still thrive despite the red tape.
