Haley nailed it! The UN wasn't laughing at Trump. They were respecting him. Yep, that's it. That's the only reasonable conclusion.

Nikki Haley: United Nations Laughter Not A Diss But A Sign Of Respect For Trump?s ?Honesty?https://www.yahoo.com/news/nikki-haley-says-united-nations-122745414.html

?They weren?t laughing at me, they were laughing with me,? said Trump during the press conference in New York. ?We had fun. That was not laughing at me. The fake news said ?people laughed at President Trump.? They didn?t laugh at me. People had a good time with me. We were doing it together. We had a good time. They respect what I?ve done.?

He seriously said this. Seriously...

Ain't this grand ?

BTW Nikki Haley is just another one in the long line of Republicans who have debased themselves for Trump.  And she is very close to the biggest donor, Sheldon Adelson, doing his bidding and selling out our foreign policy

If you want to know why is oil price (and what you pay at the pump) higher  -- Simple answer -- Iran sanctions -- that have taken 1 million barrels / day of oil off the market and caused a supply demand imbalance (Anyone trying to dispute this better read up a lot before responding:)

'Beto is way hotter than you, dude': Ted Cruz and his wife leave restaurant after being heckled

https://www.businessinsider.com/ted-cruz-heckled-restaurant-kavanaugh-beto-o-rourke-2018-9?r=UK&IR=T

This is crossing the civilized discourse line for me. Maybe gather outside the restaurant, engage arms, and sing "We Shall Overcome" or something. That would seem to carry more emotional weight, and be far more respectful behavior.

This says it all. When a the former President of United States from Texas would not endorse GOP Senator Ted Cruz from Texas during the midterms.

?George Bush Stumping For GOP Candidates, But Not Ted Cruz

"I just don't like the guy," former president reportedly said about the Texas senator in 2015.

Or gas prices could be high because of the $1.70 in state taxes that we have to pay.

You can always move to your conservative utopia of Kansas and save that tax money

Btw - have the gas taxes proportionally changed in CA while the price at pump has gone up ( and don?t divert this into a rant against the proposed hike which has a ballot measure against it) ?

Yes, a bit more than other places but still consistently the top 2 with Hawaii, which imports every drop across an ocean..

Judge rules for Huntington Beach in its challenge to state's 'sanctuary' immigration law

An Orange County Superior Court judge determined Thursday that California?s ?sanctuary state? protections for undocumented immigrants infringe on Huntington Beach?s local control as a charter city, making Huntington the first city to successfully challenge the controversial law.

Senate Bill 54, authored by state Senate leader Kevin de Le?n (D-Los Angeles), in many cases prohibits state and local police agencies from notifying federal officials about the impending release of immigrants in custody who may be deported.

But after an hours-long courtroom debate Thursday, Judge James Crandall sided with Huntington Beach City Attorney Michael Gates? argument that the law is unconstitutional as it applies to charter cities, which are run by a charter adopted by local voters.

The ruling makes Huntington Beach and all of California?s 121 charter cities exempt from complying with SB54.

Every Insane Comment Trump Made About Women During His Unhinged Press Conferencehttps://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/every-insane-trump-made-women-235344406.html

I don't agree with all her observations but some truth comes through and it shows even the hard left is starting to "get" what is happening to them.

He's Going to Get Reelected, Isn't He?

On Wednesday afternoon, Donald Trump stood at a podium in New York, where he was attending the United Nations General Assembly, and gave something resembling a press conference.  In a discursive 81 minutes, he called Democratic Senators ?con artists? for investigating allegations that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted a girl when he was in high school.  He insisted, in his signature third-person, that China has respect for ?Donald Trump?s very, very large brain? and that North Korea?s brutal dictator wrote him a ?very personal,? ?beautiful? letter.  There was word salad about Middle East peace and something about Chuck Schumer voting against George Washington.

And when it was over, despite all the agita on social media, I thought to myself: He?s going to get reelected. Or, more precisely: For all I know, he?s going to get reelected, because his voters certainly didn?t see what I just saw.

One thing's abundantly clear today, Republican Senators are far more concerned about the mid-terms than the Trump enthusiasts here.

You hear that bang?...it was a backfire!

I?m A Latino Democrat, But Thanks To The Kavanaugh Circus I?m Voting Republican In The Midterms

I am a college-educated, suburban, first-generation Latino immigrant. I voted for President Obama in 2008 and 2012. I find President Trump to lack the basic moral character that we should expect in our political leaders and did not consider, even for a moment, voting for him in 2016. After watching how Senate Democrats and the media handled the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, however, I will be voting Republican in 2018 and for Trump in 2020.

It must be because of Beto?s good looks.

?Ted Cruz Spotted On Flight Looking At Photo Of Senate Rival Beto O'Rourke

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) was snapped on a flight from Texas to Washington looking at a webpage with what appears to be a photo of Rep. Beto O?Rourke, the Democrat trying to unseat him in November?s midterm election.?

Swipe left if you dislike or swipe right if you like Beto  ;)

I'm voting blue across the board! I miss my kids and their kids living with us, a blue wave will give us an instant recession. I miss being told that we have had it too good for too long. I miss the ISIS Beheading videos as the ran like wild dogs across the middle east. My family in Japan misses watching north Korean missiles in the morning with the morning tea. I miss seeing families living in the Walmart Parking lot, as the bird bathed with a gallon of water. But most of all, I miss my Obama phone! For sure lets all vote democrat, I mean, the DOW is almost 30k, thats enough already, lets stop this absurd set back and get back to 5 cents logans and being seduced by a charming charlatan like our previous president. HOPE AND CHANGE! lol oh boy
