3-Car Garage Homes

Gates are nice mostly because you get less flyers in your door, and hardly ever any solicitors.

Northwood 3CWG, $899k

Good location on a culdesac, sideyard is bigger than most TIC new build backyards.

I just don't like that floorplan all that much because of the galley-style kitchen... I would probably open it up to the living room and leave the "family" room as a flex space or even convert to a downstairs room.

The HOA isn't that huge of a problem... that area of Northwood is well kept.

The difference is if you have problems with your neighbors, you probably have to call IPD (which some people are doing even in the new hoods with HOAs ;) ).

I hate that floor plan.  There's only so much you can do with that floor plan, even with a reno.  2.5 bathrooms, laundry in garage, that nook next to the kitchen, the separated kitchen (and that wall next to the living room looks load bearing).

All in all, this house is the sucks.  JMHO.  :)

I rented a house on that street and let me just say in a PC way that I wouldn't buy anything on that street.  But it's only my opinion.  ;)

Can you say more? What was wrong with the neighbors?

+1.
I rented a room in that street long time ago and everything in the house looked and smelled old.  Secondary bedrooms were tiny as in only your twin size bed could be in.  Forget about putting a desk in the same room. Bugs crawling everywhere. There was always at least one house in the neighborhood tented for termite treatment.

I found this 3CWG on the wrong side of the hood but for those who will never dare to cross over here is a virtual peep. May be IHO would keep dreaming of the possibilities.

Actually ok with it, like the ceilings, formal dining room.  The paintings and huge giraffe thing in the corner are scary and distracting.  Also noticed, air vents at foot level?  It's gonna be HOT upstairs.  Too bad it went pending, would've loved to lookie loo.

I've actually walked by that house on foot, while exploring that neighborhood--its a gorgeous house, a true estate, not like these "estates" in Irvine that are 5 feet from their side neighbor. Floral Park is a beautiful place, but unfortunately its a small oasis surrounded by some not so nice areas. I love the houses in that area, but didn't want to shell out for private school education for 2 kids, which I would feel the need to do if I lived there.

I agree the murals are overkill and I don't understand why people did them historically.
