$/Sq. Ft.: $357

Starts off not too bad...white picket fence and everything!

Then it goes downhill quickly:

Note the pleasant scene on the TV:

And the random TV on the floor next to a closed door:

And the crowning achievement:

Seriously, people? You can't clean up the house, turn off the TV, and keep your crying babies (who are obviously not distracted by the cell phone you give them for a toy) out of the pictures? If the kid was in a good mood it might help, but no.

That guy in the last picture is also a little bit like Where's Waldo...he shows up behind a tree in a picture of the yard as well.

I'm not actually showcasing all the pictures here...follow the link to see the rest:

This one is mine. Notice the Ladder theme. A pool ladder for??? and a Ladder over the wall for grocery shopping in the neighbors fridge.

Notice the Duct tape on the screen door.

The ladder theme carried on inside. Notice the ventilation the door that is off the hinges provides.

Wow. My favorite picture is the water heater shot on Caycifish' post...is that smoke coming from the door. Maybe the last picture before they burn the house down?

Maybe the pictures are meant to distract you from the fact that they are offering that place at $439k, or that "Waldo" paid $500k for it in 2005?

Too funny, Amoul. In this case, if the realtor claimed, "THIS ONE WON'T LAST LONG!!!!!!", I'd actually believe it.

Is the AC unit supposed to be there or did someone throw it out the window and it got stuck there?

Did the police break down that door or did someone try to run through it?

I think that is the A/C that "needs to be installed" from the description.

Funny side note, since this discussion was started the description of the Chino house was edited and now the A/C no longer needs to be installed! Damn! I thought it was a handy man's dream

Okay, we have 2 different things going on here:

1) my post was about bad pictures of an okay house

2) trrenter's post was of a house that is just plain bad

I like the artfully-draped, butterfly-like curtains:

Sorry didn't mean to hijack. I couldn't believe they actually took all those pictures. Every time I look at them I see something different. Like the spare tire just haning out in the back yard. I still want to know why Ladders everywhere.

Why not just snap a picture of the front and be done. By the way this is the oldest part of chino hills where the neighbors like to put their cars up on blocks on the front lawn.

Yeah, how much does the spare tire add to the value of the property?

Answer: Depends if it fits your car and if you have a flat in the driveway.

The door off the hinges. It's possible they locked themselves out. So why not? Lets just run right through it. Hahaha!

My best friend's dad still lives in Chino. That city was NOT happy with the creators of The OC. However, looking at these pictures you can see that there is some truth to their perception of the area.

Oh, and another thing I noticed about the GG house was the carton of eggs and what looks like butter or cottage cheese just sitting out on the counter in the kitchen. Classy.

I guess you could call this Lakewood house a "fixer upper"

Description: NOTE HIGH-BALANCE LOAN ON PROPERTY NOW !!! Major Rehab Required! Seller has done lots of demolition and given up due to family obligations. Hilarious! And we wonder if realtors deserve their 6% commissions. At least Realtor Steven White on the lakewood house was nice enough to spare us the details/pictures of the interior
