Whole House Fan

Weird... I hear the opposite as it removes indoor dust and pollution from the home.

If you don't filter the air you will bring in dust and pollen to various degree while also pushing out dust and pollutants.

One additional advantage is that you cool your attic with a whole house fan which can give a bit more thermal inertia during the day to avoid the house to warm as fast.
