I agree! Did Euro Deliveries for my M3's when I had them.  Fun experience!

Paris- Let's race... We'll start at Portola/Culver... Go down Culver and first one to reach Boiling Point and get a seat for 2 wins?

Sounds good, let's do it!  ;)

Yes GC, I need the 4 doors for the kids. We're debating on taking my 5 year old on euro delivery with us. He loves race cars and may never forgive me if I don't. But then there goes the romantic European get away.

Attached is a pic from our last euro delivery, our top speed on the autobahn. Didn't want to push the brand new car but we had to for a moment. Really fun experience  ;D

How many lanes can you cut over in one shot at that speed?

GC is the way to go.  It's the most beautiful BMW ever made IMO.  If one day I get the 991 GT3, it'll be a ED.  You MUST take the kid with you, and head over to BMW's museum and check out the race cars and if your road trip takes you to Stuttgart, stop at Mercedes and Porsche museum as they both have much more race cars on display than BMW.

Fixed.

Hey Paris when you did Euro delivery did they drill holes in your front bumper for Euro/German plates?  This is one of the main reasons I didn't want to get Euro delivery.  I hate front plates *almost* as much as I hate big holes in the bumper from where the plates used to be.

Not only that, but you also pay less for European Delivery from BMW.  Porsche does not offer the same discount for European Delivery.

Culver has too many cars....Portola is a much more wide open street with less cars.  ;)

So when you build out the car you have to specifically tell them that you do not want holes drilled into the front bumper. They make you sign some waiver that says yes you understand CA requires front plates blah blah and then they won't do it. When you're driving in Europe they'll give you the front plate to put on your front dash.

I have to admit that I'm getting tempted by the spy shots of the upcoming 991 GT3RS.  I hate buying new but I might make an exception for that car.

Go for it!!  Maybe you should also keep your 997 RS too, it's time to start your car collection. :)
