The Estates at Trump National of 30 homesites, he has sold one house...one is pending...four lots have sold, and most of the others have "HOLD" on them.....yeah, RIGHT !

This is right near Portugese Bend, which awgee commented on earlier. I used to drive that road all the time, no two weeks were alike ! There was constant, and I mean constant land movement there because it's on a FAULTLINE. They had to repave it every 8 weeks or so, all the pipes (water, gas) are above ground and lined up on the side of the road because of it. Half the time it was like a rollercoaster ride....wild dips where there were none last month. The double yellow line separating lanes was always squiggly, not straight....that's how I gauged how much the road have shifted since I was on it last.

The Estates are about a 5 minute drive from The Bend....er, I mean The Palos Verdes Faultine. Don't know how he got the approval to build (ahem, kickbacks anyone) on the ocean side of that road.

Good article, morekaos. An important thing to take away from it is regarding the fact that consumer protection laws in Mexico are usually weak. These condo-buyers all lost their deposits on this Baja Trump tower (which one of the picture captions says is located across from Tijuana's sewage treatment plant.)

IIRC, Cramer has been wrong on his real estate market calls 100% of the time for the last three years, and this realtor is referencing him for credibility? Buy now or be priced out forever.

Or maybe Miss Roseanne may be well served to read Steve Thomas' statistics on the monthly inventory of high end homes which is what Miss Roseanne "specializes" in. I will give her a quick hint. There has not been a 25% reduction in high end inventory.

Not a fan of Cramer and not wrong 100% of the time. A couple years ago (early/mid-07), he said if you bought in 05/06, put your keys in the mail and send it to the bank. No one wants your house, including you.
 
And Trump weasels out again. This guy has more financial lives than a cat!!! How could the banks fall for the SAME BK twice and still go back now for a third time? Unbelievable!!!

The real estate mogul announced he and his daughter, Ivanka, were abandoning their battle over control of the company, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in February. It was the third such filing for the company or its corporate predecessors.

The deal reached with 61 percent of the bondholders would give Donald Trump common stock and warrants worth 10 percent of the reorganized company.
