Tornado Warning in Effect for O.C.

mk,, what is the latest news out of the LBC.. I was watching briefly on the news this afternoon, about Wilson High... 10th & Bennett... remember what I said about Belmont Shores being sea level! I can't believe the flood...!

All the usual suspects are under water. Drove by the Colorado Lagoon and I think the construction cut off the drainage into the Marine Stadium so that place is overflowing. The Island is wet and deeper in some spots but nothing we can't handle. The Peninsula is worried about the Wed. extreme tide and the breakers getting in the harbor. Seal and northern Huntington are waging a sand berm battle. The Shore is relatively intact, a few blocked drains and deep water but nothing serious. Seal got washed over though. Saw a few businesses today with 2 inches in the doors.

I'm trying to figure out how many blocks got flooded around Wilson... remember in 05 how it rained a lot that year in LB, but this time around there were a lot of rain all at once, which might have been different. What do you think of property values around Wilson and the Shore, and the perceived threat of global warming...?

I found some pictures
what do you guys use for Live Weather Radar...

google's works pretty good, it's pouring right over Irvine right now...! It'll be like this for another 10 minutes or so...

I was looking at the radar on the LA Times weather page

http://weather.latimes.com/US/CA/Los_Angeles.html
I've been watching radar on Weather Undergound http://www.wunderground.com/radar/radbla....l=Irvine,%20CA

It's actually the one the LA Times uses, with maybe an added feature or two, such as "Storm Tracks" that show arrows indicating direction and predicted times that storm centers may travel.

The Google Weather gadget radar maps do looks nice though. Unfortunately RC's link doesn't work, and I can't find a good link to it either. I just have the Weather gadget on my iGoogle page, and go from there.

[Edit:]
Oh I see, there's an "Enhanced Map" link on Google's Weather which takes you to the ...

...now wait for it...
