Who here is interested in a TI meet-up? Only the brave need apply! If you can muster up enough social skills to step away from the computer for a bit, make eye contact, shake a hand, and say hello, then please list the dates / days of the week and times you are interested in. Location T.B.D. Probably somewhere in Irvine. For those of you oh-so-concerned with anonymity, notice I didn't say "identify yourself".  :P I suppose that part is optional.  ::)

My suggestion is a Friday evening. That would give the working a chance to attend and the parents no homework to grade that night.

Any suggestions on what works best for everyone else?

So uh... how do I disguise my girth and ugliness?

Maybe I'll send Homer and he can say he is IHO?

There are probably more that I missed... I just named whoever off the top of my head... Cubic Zirconia should be on that list and a few others like Motorcourt, Freedom, Starlight, RKP, NonFCB, Frank69m etc... I just didn't want to be greedy.

Heck... I would invite Graphrix, Cayci, NoVas, Coltrane, Cameray, Eval, OCM and other IHB old schoolers too.

i will not be able to hide my brown skin either (or my extra wide pant leg) and will easily be identified. maybe ill say im middle eastern, although that wont help with the extra wide pant leg  :)

dont worry, i can hide either.  i will have lots of cash but have no taste and be tacky...at least i think thats how a slumdog millionaire will come off
 
I will attend and hide in the corner, wearing dark sunglasses and a hat (or perhaps green camo paint, if it's an outdoor venue), eavesdropping and taking notes...like I always do!

As long as we're making demands, I'll only go as long as one other female does, too. I nominate CZ, trace, kayochan (if she's still around), Mrs. Zovall and Mrs. IHS. That's right. I said Mrs. IHS. I kind of e-know her.
 
Ummm. How do I answer this.

Is JT Schmidt's out? I think it's up to Zovall. I'd like to see it in an area that's a bit less congested and more centrally-located, but that's my preference.

How can you disguise the obvious? We'll bring shades.

I'm glad you say that. Of all the people I've met on this site over the years, you are one of the Top 3 easiest to talk to in person. I always get SUPER nervous meeting a bunch of people so I insist you go just for my own selfish reasons.
 
well socal - my wife is always down so there would be another lady if that counts.  she has never been on this site though...

Being a talker coming naturally, no one has ever described me as being shy or quiet.  I enjoyed the IHB gatherings and would try to make as many as I could so it would take something big in preventing me from attending this one.
