Hi Xander, I don't live in The Meadows, I'm across the street in Baker Ranch.

My oldest kid just started kindergarten and we drive him up the hill to Foothill Ranch elementary, it's pretty close. I imagine when we're older we'd look to share rides. Currently we have a nanny come 4 days a week to pick up our kid from school.


The community of foothill ranch is great, we've met lots of families at the various parks and pools, the town center is great for taking the kids, and the Spectrum is about 10 minutes away which is both great for taking the kids or when I want a break and want to eat somewhere nice kid free.

My daughter also just started Kinder @ FRE - I wonder if our kids are in the same class?

There are four(!!!) kindergarten classes if I'm not mistaken, they really could have used a second school over at the Meadows!

It is nice seeing so many little ones out and about at the various parks, playgrounds, and even town center.

I've heard a Costco is coming in town, which will make the local communities more attractive.
