Star Wars - The Force Awakens

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Release date of a film is no excuse for not seeing it, esp if it's a classic or pop culture favorite.

So that means you haven't seen Sound of Music, The Godfather or Rocky?

Ok so I've NEVER seen Star Wars ( and always get it confused with Star Trek) so do I need some type of refresher "catch up" lesson before seeing this movie or will I be okay just going to see it? I don't want to be the only person in the theater confused  ;D.
I think Question 7 of the US Citizenship test is: "Who was Luke's Father?"

Same here. Star Wars made its debut before I did. Therefore, never seen it.
I find your lack of enthusiasm disturbing.

I'm going to chime in here and say that I've also never seen star wars.  I also always confuse it with star trek even though I've never seen that either.  And I have zero interest in seeing this new star wars movie or reading up on any book for dummies/wiki entries on previous star wars.  With that said, I'll self-revoke my TI membership :) :) :) :)

I need to start a spoiler thread.

Very enjoyable film and it's amazing how someone other than George Lucas knew how to capture the feel of the original trilogy.

Can we have JJ Abrams redo Episodes 1-3 also?

The Force is strong in this new trilogy.

I'm gonna wait for the 4k super collectors edition that will come out in 6 years with ALL the episodes :)

Saw the movie on the flight, I was actually a bit let down.  Maybe because the mini seat screen was inches from my face because the guy in front of me needed that extra 2 inches of lean back to sleep.  I thought the acting was not that great.

So which retailer did you buy from?
