So what does one do with shrimp paste?

[quote author="effenheimer" date=1207916794]
?The fish sauce tank is very tall and the victims had been lying in the sauce

for a while before being rushed here,? said the doctor who declined to be

identified. ?When they came, the man (who died) was already in critical

condition.?

Well jeez, at that point you might as well just leave him in there. That'll make the special "founder's estate" batch, like that wonderfully complex 2001 cabernet savignon you opened when celebrating your wedding anniversary. Bonus stinkage if his socks were going on seven days unchanged at the time of his mishap.

I need to double check with BK, but I think it's bad feng shui if someone dies in your fish sauce.

My Uncle who worked at the Guiness Factory in Dublin suffered a similar fate, he drowned in a huge Vat of the stuff...

The odd thing was that 3 eye witnesses said he climbed out three times to Pee

Poor Bloke.

Here is a safer, vegan alternative, to spice up your stir-fry. Of course, it won't drive away the neighbors...

I read that those big kosher pickles--the ones that used to be in a

barrel at Jewish delis--need the dirt in

order to ferment.

Someone tried to clean up and process and discovered that they didn't

ferment with cleanliness.

I, personally, do not like pickles either.

The euwwwww factor is extremely high, but fermentation does kill

germs. it doesn't kill pollution tho, so I wouldn't want to eat anything

created near major pollution.

Love the kitty. More kitties pleez.
