Someone should compare the media coverage of Noriega's capture vs Maduro just to see how slanted the MSM has become and how far apart we are as a nation today. Not as many Rainbow Warriors for Venezuelan Dictators marching in NYC back in 1990 when GHWB pulled the trigger, just as the Tangerine Tyrant did over the weekend. Although Panama/Noriega wasn't about oil, per-se, the military's action has been virtually identical.

I don’t care who you are or what the situation…when cops draw down on you, you do exactly what they say. I have had it happen to me…mistaken identity with another car that matched the description..I did exactly what they ordered and lived.

And what if he shot you anyways? Justified? Police answer to a higher standard and should know when a real threat is posed. If this was the other way around you would be arguing that too. So biased.

No one should have to be shot like this.
 
If I had not followed his directions (exit vehicle) and instead tried to run him over then yes, I’d expect to be shot. I followed directions and in the end I thanked them and was safely on my way. Good could have done the same..she chose poorly.

Watch any of the hundreds of Police bodycam videos (Police Activity on YouTube is a good start...) and you'll real world examples of why motorists who "choose poorly" get taken off the board. Once a motorist refuses to exit the vehicle after a lawful order, then puts the vehicle in gear and actively tries to flee, the driver has decided to use that car as a possible weapon. The motorist is now a threat and must be neutralized. That's hard fact that may hurt feelings, yet still a 1,000 percent justifiable shooting.

No one seems to screech about her disobeying a lawful order. That's also a well supported justifiable shooting (in some cases, not here however). If she drove off and was pursued, what happens after that? Well, it's another reason to use lethal force. Some PIT maneuvers end up with deadly results, not just for the driver, but also for bystanders.

I don't know about you, dear reader, but we all know there is a 100% effective way of avoiding being shot - and that's to comply with lawful orders.
