You guys keep talking about decisions being made prior to this. What is more important is decisions made by the people in the moment who are supposed to be the authority.
Who cares if he did not have ID or even if he didn’t have a concealed carry permit… he was in a non threatening position, did not draw on them and did not have his gun… why shoot him multiple times?

They are empowered by Federal law to apprehend and remove aliens. They are all criminal BTW, be it Civil or Criminal law breaking. If protestors cannot accept the rule of law, the problem lies with the protestors, not the legally authorized to enforce those laws.
Who cares if this person wasn't abiding by the law? Everyone who could have been impacted by his decision. Once one person brings a gun to an event, the question of threatening position is immaterial. If someone broke into your home tonight, you're at the top of the stairs with your gun, they are at the bottom and haven't yet drawn, but refuse to leave, are you going to shoot? Of course you are. Whoever is in the downstairs bedroom is at risk. Do you shoot once, or many times? Depends. Are you sure the first shot did the trick? Was there body armor? Did the person still have the chance to pull their gun? In this scenario, you empty the clip, otherwise you run the risk of survival and still getting a shot off at you, or anyone else. It may not be pretty. It may be upsetting... but it is what it is. Ask anyone in Law Enforcement what they do when a suspect has a visible gun. Seems like they empty their clips as well. Do thousands rise up?
In 2015 when Obama gave Tom Homan (2026 Border Czar) a medal for taking about 1% of 11 million illegals back to their home country (Per Pew Research). How many here in OC or on TI protested? Nationally, there were a few protests, but the active protestor numbers were in the hundreds. If you can point out to one significant protest that year, I'd like to hear about it. In 2024, we were up to 14 million illegals (per DHS) and so far we've deported about .05% of them. Many more self deported - as they should of but we're dealing with ICE only here. Today we see tens of thousands of protestors - none of whom can rationally answer a single question about ICE's rules, immigration law, who these illegal's are... but for sure. Trump is Hitler, and if you support him, you're a Nazi. Lot's of deep thought put out there....no? They self own, confirming this isn't about Juan's ability to stay in America, but only one thing: Orange Man Bad. Sheesh, the man could cure cancer and they'd ask "Why aren't you doing anything about heart disease you fascist pig"
